    Lovely welcome, great food
Called in for a evening meal, we where made welcome at this family owned restaurant which serves traditional Czech cuisine, cooked to a high standard but still reasonably priced. They also do some good beers and a good selection of Moravian wines. The owner was so pleased to see English guests back in his restaurant, we where given a free desert after he told us we where the first English guests he had in the restaurant in 6 months. Located at bottom of petrin hill with easy tram access.

    Good location
Great location to all the sights.. 5 min walk away from Prague Castle and right at bottom of the very very steep hill to the Petrin lookout tower. Charles Bridge within 8min walk. Clean, tidy hotel. Noise from the trans which are right outside, so it’s good for travel links. Very basic but we were only there to sleep & have breakfast, as we were out all day. Good value for the money we paid.

Lovely rustic hotel in the Old Town
Cosy little hotel at the heart of Old Town with plenty of sights to see within walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff and great location close to Petrin park, Kampa Museum and Charles Bridge. There was an issue with our room on arrival, but it was resolved very professionally and graciously by the front desk team. Lukas, in particular, was amazing at making us feel at home. Great scrambled eggs for breakfast and delicious lunch and dinner menu with local specialties at the hotel restaurant Czech Slovak.

We stayed here during our weekend trip to Prague. The receptionist Valeria was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. During breakfast she was helping with the service and was very attentive. She came to check on us several times always offering replenishment of tea coffee, juices etc. I also recommend to visit hotel's restaurant. I don't remember the name ( I think it's Jan), he is the one who is making beer served in the restaurant...he made us feel sooo welcomed there...I mean really...I never would have thought that nowadays, I can still find this kind of service !!! Keep up the good work!

The Good We arrived at the hotel at about 9 am and were we greeted by a friendly member of staff. As the hotel was fully booked we were unable to check in which is understandable, they offered us a complimentary coffee in the restaurant and stored our bags so could go wondering. When we came back at around 2 pm our room was ready and a bottle of bubbly was waiting for us (Just like I asked on email). We stayed in room 6 which is a lovely standard room with wooden rafters and windows which faces on to a courtyard area, which does have some seating. I will say the room gets very little natural light and the lights in the room didn’t do much to brighten it up, not that we stayed in the room for very long; I think some new bulbs in the room would make a massive difference.

A really lovely hotel, in a fantastic location, with friendly staff who are very helpful. Staff in the restaurant, bistro and at the reception gave prompt, attentive service with a smile. The room was clean, spacious and with a very comfortable bed and a great view of the park opposite which is home to Prague's very own mini Eiffel Tower which is lit up at night! The restaurant and bistro food was very high quality and beautifully presented, with a very knowledgeable sommelier. All the main tourist attractions are all within easy walking distance or just a hop on a tram opposite the hotel. Spring was a great time to visit, the blossom trees in the park opposite the hotel make for a great view and the weather was lovely.

6 of us stayed here for 3 nights. We were pleasantly surprised by the rooms, good size and clean. We were delighted to find 4 of us could fit in a wardrobe, if the rest of the group had of been willing then we could have fitted 5, possibly even 6 with some careful planning. Very good would stay again.

Recently stayed here for the first 3 nights of our family holiday. Lovely clean and warm 2 level room- quite a narrow staircase but plenty of space down stairs to store our luggage. Breakfast was included in our room price and both the children loved coming down to fresh crepes and eggs each morning. Staff at breakfast were lovely as were reception who helped organise transport to the train station for an early morning departure. In a quiet area of Prague but walking distance to everything youll want to see. Would definitely stay here again

The staff were friendly and polite. Communication was really good and prompt. The location was perfect for us with Petrin Park literally opposite, Charles Bridge a 10 minute walk away, in our opinion Male Strana was a nicer area than the main Old Town area. Buffet style breakfast was more than adequate to set you up for the day, there was also option for a small cooked breakfast. Plenty of choice of coffee, tea and juices. We had a top floor room at the front of the building and yes there was a tram stop right outside but it wasn't too noisy, if you are a light sleeper then take ear plugs. The room itself was on the smaller side but had ample storage was clean and warm, there was a safe in the room at no extra charge, bed was really comfortable. If we were to return to Prague we

Stayed for 3 nights with my girlfriend. The room and bathroom were clean although some maintenance and perhaps modernisation required (carpet, furniture and bathroom fittings). Nevertheless they were clean and functional so cannot complain. Comfortable bed and sheets. Room came with a safe, digital TV and a reasonably-priced minibar. Small but varied and tasty buffet breakfast with fruit, cold meats, cheeses, breads, pastries and cereals. Adjoining restaurant had very good food (would recommend the Czech duck dish) and reasonably priced. 10% discount for hotel guests was a pleasant surprise. Hotel guests also benefit from complementary daily coffee and cake in the restaurant which was very generous and again a nice surprise. Reception and cleaning staff were very friendly

We stayed at this hotel from Friday till Monday and it was a busy time. Hotel is located near the city center walking distance to the Prague castle and to the Charles Bridge. We had a room on the other side, not on the main road it was quiet but we could still hear trams. Hotel is bit older but nice and clean. Staff was helpful they gave us all information we needed. We enjoyed a good breakfast, but for the dinner we wasn't lucky as everything was already reserved. I definitely recommend this place, nice, quiet, near to city center.

Lovely clean hotel. Rooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. The tram outside is noisy but it wasn't a problem. The lady on reception was very kind and helpful. Good choice of food for breakfast. Walking distance from all major attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
