So glad I came across the Jewel. It's location is perfect. We walked effortlessly to all the tourist sites. This hotel is a calm oasis in the centre of Prague, the cafe/bar being a warm, cosy and welcoming place to end your day after a long day sightseeing. The rooms are stylish and comfortable and have almost everything you need...

This hotel is exceptional value for money. Although the rooms are on the small side, they are very comfortable and the bathroom was of a good size with lovely toiletries. Breakfast is AMAZING. A lovely buffet is on offer, plus a delicious a la carte, I'd highly recommend the omelette. On our first morning we totally overslept and missed breakfast,...

This truly is the Tripadvisor find of the decade. The hotel is what all other Boutique hotels should aspire to be. It is not big and it doesn't have a hotel lift so it is not for person who wants the bland Hilton experience, but for those who want a unique, quirky and gorgeous hotel experience. The Room - we...

I loved my stay at the Jewel Hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and very well-appointed, everything up to date. I enjoyed the turndown service every day (with a little cake!), and also loved the breakfast. There was a large variety of food available including meats, cheeses, bread, fruit, yogurt, cakes, and also an...

The hotel arranged free airport transfer as we had booked 6 nights between two couples. This gave us a great start. Second good point was the location. We were less than a five minute walk to the famous Old Town Square so perfect for a huge choice of bars and restaurants. Our room (pearl) was very clean and comfortable and...

I'd like to start off my review by saying my biggest impression was from the staff. THis is a small boutique hotel so it is not part of a chain. Everyone from the desk help, bartenders, and breakfast hostess go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Top notch ! The rooms are small but clean and they...

Very comfy bed. I had a double room at the top of the hotel. It was rather cramped so was a good job i was on my own otherwise would have been difficult. But bed was very comfy and excellent service. No air conditioning and was there in high temperatures but on the whole, excellent facilities and would definitely recommend...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
