This hotel is a gem. Just a few minutes walk from Wenceslaus Square in Prague. Great location, despite being next to the most popular cabaret in town. Might not be super appropriate for children. The true game changer here is the service. The concierge desk is extremely helpful. They bend over backwards to help their customers, a far cry from... More

I enjoyed my stay in the hotel! I have arrived around noon and they were able to give me immediately the room. The room was spacious and very clean. A lot amenities can be found in the bathroom. The breakfast was perfect with lot of choice and the bar had a great coffee. The taxi service ordered by the hotel... More

This is a fantastic hotel. Located a short walk from Wencleslas Square it is a modern hotel with excellent facilities. The room was spacious with TV, free internet, fridge, hairdryer, toiletries, air conditioning and a safe. Breakfast was buffet style and varied from day to day. All the staff spoke excellent english and were very helpful. They also provide an... More

Once upon a time this must have been a good hotel in a good area of the modern town now it is in the heart of the red light district - the upmarket part of the relight district! this means that no taxis are allowed in the street between 10 at night and 6 in the morning - which is... More

The hotel was better than expected for quality. The rooms were of a magnificent quality, beds comfy, pillows were soft. All good. Staff were helpful & friendly.and very knowing of the city & its history. Breakfast was buffet style, but superb. Plenty to choose from, and dishes were always full. The only minor complaint is that the hotel bar is... More

The hotel is very close to Wenceslas Square, placing it within close proximity to most of Prague's major attractions. The old town is around a 15 minute walk; Charles Bridge being another 5 mins further. The hotel is situated between a strip club and a brothel, although nobody from either establishment bothered us, you have to walk past at least one... More

Arguably the most positive feature of this hotel is its convenient location -just off Wenceslas Square - placing it within close proximity to all of Prague's major attractions. The old town is around a 15 minute walk; Charles Bridge being another 5 mins further. Wenceslas Square itself has a lot to offer, including a number of high street shops and... More

K+K Hotel Fenix is a lovely hotel, the staff where very helpful and polite. A tip ask for a quiet room!!! We only ate breakfast in hotel but it was good and a mixture of cooked and continental. Be aware the there is a new City Tax to pay now, 1 euro per night but it was an unexpected surprise.... More

The hotel is very well located just off Wencalas Square and within easy walking distance of most of Prague's places of interest. Helpful staff, nicely appointed rooms and excellent free wi-fi. Only downside was the strip club hustlers very evident in the same street as the hotel - some very scary looking characters, although to be fair they didn't hassle... More

The hotel itself was not too bad there are adult shops and strip bars immediately outside the hotel entrance I would not recommend this for a family trip. On a positive note the hotel staff spoke excellent English and was more than willing to help give you sites to go see.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
