Normally I try to avoid big hotels like this. Yet as it was very close to where I had my meetings and it offered proper car park, I booked it. Fortunately it was almost empty (I can imagine huge crowds here if there’s no pandemic) and silent. Room was comfy and large, yet pretty basic. No fridge or minibar was inside. In the lobby bar I could buy drinks but there were no snacks (nuts or similar) as they said die to Covid. This is a joke. Anyway, it was an ok stay but probably due to high vacancy in the building.

Hotel's Favorite
Stayed here just before a viking cruise as part of a pre-cruise extension. Typical Hilton in terms of nice rooms, public areas and dining options. Has an immaculate appearance with an impressive skylight atrium. Rooms and mattresses are first rate. Breakfast buffet was included and typical European choices with easy picks for we Americans. We enjoined the small beer garden. We did not use the pool or spa but it looked nice from the exterior. The hotel is across from a small pass through retail area with a grocery store for odds and ends, It was about a 20-25 minute walk to the edge of Old Town. I see some negative reviews about staff/service but honestly we didn't experience any of that. Our check in was handled by Viking so we would have missed any front desk unpleasantness.

We stayed for 5 nights over Christmas and had a wonderful time. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. My daughter fell during a guided tour in the city and needed medical care for a cut she got. The manager on duty Ms. Marta Lesovska was absolutely amazing. She had the hotel driver take us to the hospital and he stayed with us throughout the treatment and helped with navigation and translation. Not only that but when we came back to the hotel, Marta and the staff went out of their way to cheer my daughter up, including giving her some tasty Prague confectioneries. Truly a great service! Breakfast has nice selection and the hotel is well equipped, including an indoor pool and a spacious gym. We will definitely return next time we’re in Prague.

It’s our first time staying in Hilton hotel and my family was satisfied and really did enjoy our stay. My son personally loves the swimming pool and the happy hour offered between 17:00 - 18:00 in the executive lounge. For someone who loves drinking coffee, access to the free drinks (coffee, tea, soda) from 11:00 - 20:00 was a great perk that I enjoyed in this hotel. Aside from this, my wife loves the steam bath/sauna offered in this establishment too. Though it was not the King Executive Suite that I was expecting. It was indeed a 2 connected regular rooms where the other room has been converted to be a separate living room 😬 Despite of that, the room was big and we had enough space to roam around. The living room has a sofa bed, dining room and a lounge chair. In addition, both rooms have a flat screen TV, toilet & bath where the bedroom has the bathtub which my wife loves. Both T&B are provided with complete bath amenities including body lotion and slippers. For the breakfast, it is the typical breakfast offered in most of the EU hotels, I would say a combination of English & American breakfast. With regard to safety, we’re happy that they are indeed strict with the safety protocols related to COVID-19. There’s someone who is checking your corona pass to make sure everybody’s/everyone’s safety in the dining room. Thumbs up to that 👍 Location wise, it was not in the city center but walking distance to the major tourist attractions. Few minutes walk to the old & new town and to the Prague main train station. Very close to the boat pier/station. All though the 5 days of our stay, we never spent a single penny into public transportation as we just literally just walk to different places. Staffs are indeed friendly and always welcoming to their guests. At least, I haven’t seen anyone not smiling but rather they are always ready to give you a warm smile and greet you. I would surely recommend this hotel and we would definitely come again!
