A really well positioned hotel close to all of the main places of interest in Prague. Very clean rooms and public areas - breakfast (continental) included. Staff friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

We stayed 3 nights in a twin room. We highly recommend this hotel. The location is great, the staff friendly and the rooms are clean. The free coffee and tea in the reception was very welcome after a freezing cold day visiting the Christmas markets! Breakfast has a good selection. Overall we would stay here again.

We spent 4 nights at the Cloister Inn. Extremely clean, spacious room, very friendly staff. Being a former cloister taken over by the Communist Secret police, the complex has been given back to the nuns. Some of the property is now the hotel and you can feel the spartan decor. I would definitely come back to the Cloister Inn, and...

If your British you'll know who they are and it truly is all about Location, Location, Location. The Hotel location was second to none. Everything else was terrific as well. Maybe it's because I'm a lady of a certain age that I found the bedrooms rather on the warm side but that's better than being cold I suppose! The shower...

The internet is filled with bad hotel reviews, I'm saddened that bad news always spreads faster than good news and I felt my stay at the Cloister was so perfect I had to spread it! We had read reviews for the hotel and found nothing but good things. And the hotel definitely did live up to this. The staff were...

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Cloister Inn. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is in the perfect location...we were walking distance from everything we wanted to see. We often returned to the Hotel during the afternoons for a break from sightseeing - we enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea in the comfortable lobby....

Our first impression of this hotel was based on the very friendly and helpful staff at reception, combined with the "help yourself" espresso coffee machine and teas facilities. When we hit the streets to explore Prague we realised the location is more central than it looks on the maps and the charm of Prague took over. The Cloister staff provided...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
