The hotel is clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Showers good and hot. Breakfast good although no croissants second morning - alternatives though. BUT - and this is a huge but to me - I slept (badly) in the worst hotel bed I have ever encountered - basic pine framed bed that squeaked at every turn. Mattress thin, hard and... More

Fantastic choice for a budget hotel. Stayed there for three nights while visiting Christmas markets. Booked a single room, but actually had a double bed, room was small but perfectly adequate. Fabulous shower with constant temperature and powerful stream, which I find is quit rear! Room was perfectly clean with fridge and safe. Bed on the hard side but very... More

Great location hotel, close to Old Sq. shops, bars and lots of good restaurants all within easy walking distance. Spotless, warm, very good continental breakfast and served until 10. My only criticism would be that more toiletries should be provided e.g. Shampoo, wash cloths, tissues. These are just minor issues but with airline restrictions it would be nice to have... More

Really nice hotel. Excellent location. Good breakfast. Only thing we think that let it down we're the beds. They were extremely hard. Tough to sleep in. But a pleasant stay. This hotel was in walking distance of all the attractions. Bars an restaurants.

Arrival Mid October Weather: 10C An excellent destination for history, museums, culture, walking, food and beer. Getting around (or "How to find your hotel again"): The streets are a maze. You can use one of the free maps they supply to get around but it's even easier if you download one of the dozens free gps apps for your phone.... More

My wife and I spent a 3 night break here, spending much of the time walking round the sights of the centre which are all really close by. Our room on the top floor was spacious with a massive en-suite shower room. Furniture and decor was simple but perfectly adequate and everything was very clean. The lobby area was again... More

My partner and I came here earlier this month for a 3 night break in Prague. We found the hotel basic but just what we wanted and needed. Staff were very friendly and even arranged a tour for us. We could come and go at whatever time, but had to leave the keys with reception. We were on the 5th... More

Lovely hotel in the perfect location, only 5 mins walk to Charles Bridge. We never used transport as everything was within walking distance. Hotel is super clean, friendly staff, lovely breakfast too. Free tea and coffee machine in reception with a nice seating area which was very cosy. There is even umbrellas next to reception desk if it rains. The... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
