Hotel City-Inn is really conveniently located. Everything is within walking distance. Staff was friendly, professional, with good sense of humor and helpful. Price of the hotel was reasonable (it's really not too luxurious) and good for me as a not really wealthy student.

The most valuable factor is the location. This hotel is well located (between the train station and the Powder tower). Is easy to walk and take the hotel as a base camp. The price is good for this hotel, considering that it has a really good free breakfast. The hotel is a classic construction, warm in winter and very clean....

Went for a week with friends. Had a triple room. The hotel is about an hour from the airport, in the city center, close to all touristic attractions. The room was spacoius and cleaned daily. It was also warm inside, very important in winter. Breakfast is good- buffet, served from 7-10. Ladies- no hairdrier provided,so pack your own.

This place was the cheapest that I found, it also is horrible and depressing. You don't have internet at the rooms and if you want it you have to pay 3€ for a really slow connection. The bathroom is awful, the toilet, shower and sink are all in one, you can pee while you have a shower. This place looks...

Well placed but the staff is simply the worst ever. Not friendly, not smiling. Simply scandalous. Otherwise the wifi is very expensive and slow, and the rooms are simple. Nothing exceptional. The only good thing is the localisation.

We booked a room for 4 people, but they gave us a really really small room with only three beeds and a camp bed. The 4 beds were sticked together, my head was in the middle of my friends' feet when we slept. Sometimes it was impossible to have a shower due to cold water, no free wifi (except in...

Nothing fancy, rooms were outdated and could have been cleaner but good value for what you pay. Was perfect for 9 men on a weekend drinking holiday. Within walking distance of the main squares and staff were helpful.

We were a party of 11, we had 3 rooms (4 singles per room). Awesome experience! What a location! 5 mins from the theatre district and Old Town for sights (river a little further). 10 mins walk from all the night life you might want! Convenient for shops (provisions) and the hotel stocks basics (toothbrushes, toothpaste, grooming and hygiene products,...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
