Although it was a good sized room it was not like any of the photo's , when I opened the curtains the view was an internal wall I can only assume we got a cheap room because we were on a Jet2 city break. The room was clean and the bathroom was spotless, breakfast was the normal continental choices, a... More

The location, rooms and prices are splendid! The breakfast is reasonable. It is served in the smoking area of the restaurant below the hotel. You don't smell it much though! One woman behind the reception is really unfit for the hospitality business. No service, smile or help. She doesn't listen and in general makes no effort.

A quaint little hotel in a historic location - right at the Charles Bridge. Our room was relatively small, but adequate for our 1 night stay. Service was great; with all staff being very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was sufficient. If you want to be close to the Charles Bridge, the river and a tram stop that will take you... More

Stayed here for four nights. Location is great, wake up early and you can walk to the Charles Bridge with only a few people around. Really charming old hotel that is enchanting. Staff are very nice especially those in the breakfast room. Breakfast was plenty. Repetitive daily but always easy to mix and match give the selection. Bed is very... More

Lovely hotel. The room was large as was the extremely comfortable bed! Friendly and polite staff, and just two minutes walk from the historic Charles Bridge. Would be very happy to stay there again. If I had one tiny gripe, it would be that there was nowhere to smoke. But that would be to cavil a little too much.

I love this hotel, the room was big and comfortable. The buffet was just ok, they don't have a lot of options. The staff was friendly and able to help and offer some tours. They speak fluent English. I will stay there again.

It's such a shame. This small hotel is in an ideal location. The staff and building were fine. Breakfast was ok - just. Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
