We were expecting a good lunch here. The location was fantastic; the hotel looked very nice and the staff was very friendly. The food "tasted" good but unfortunately I got VERY VERY sick from the pork knuckle. I got sick about 5 hours after lunch and hit better within 12 hours. I wouldn't normally call out a restaurant like this... More

Located in the centre square of the Old City - you cannot ask for a better location. This hotel has all the old world charm packaged with all the new world conveniences. Most rooms look out to the Old Square - where you can spend hours observing the multiple tourist activities taking place - but then again why do that... More

Popped in for din dins. Nice food, nothing spectacular. Staff excellent and very friendly. Helped us out in several ways. I had the beef sirloin with obligatory cabbage! Wobbly table sorted with a cork. Several loud Germans there, but otherwise all good.

Hotel located in the center of town in a square just a short walk from the Powder Tower. Large rooms, nice bed with on site restaurant and complimentary breakfast. The hotel provides a low cost set price transportation to and from the airport or train station. Great value for budget minded travelers.

If you choose this hotel, you will definately have a wonderfull morning! 3 windows in the room and one more in the bathroom with view at Old Town Square. Wow!!! Take a shower or glass of beer/tea/coffee (which is included in the price) and enjoy. In the morning my room was in the sunshine and I saw the empty square... More

Hotel Lippert is a small hotel that is full of charm. We were fortunate to get a 3rd Floor corner room overlooking the Old Town Square... the views were breathtaking! The hotel is very old, but very charming. The room was large, the bed was clean & comfortable for 2. The en-suite bathroom was clean and sufficient with a shower.... More

We booked in this hotel for three days with lots of history in it and the building. Very convenient in the heart of Old Town very close to the City Hall and The famous Astronomical Clock you're right in the action when the funfare starts at dusk. Don't forget to dine in their restaurant the duck menu is great but... More

I didn't stay in this hotel but elect to dine there. This was one of the most expensive places i ate in prague but worth every penny. The food was really tasty perfectly cooked and staff were very friendly and helpfull. I was briefly bothered by a beggar but the waiter quickly ushered him away. I would highly recomend dining... Wonderful, friendly staff, both in Reception and in the restaurant. Spacious, clean room in a beautiful old hotel located right on Old Town Square. Walking distance to most neighborhoods and historic sights, near enough to tram for all others. The breakfast, included with the room, was delicious and plentiful. They even provided us with a picnic snack box when we... More

We ate in the restaurant though we did not stay at this hotel. We had typical Czech meals: Goulash and dumplings and Pork and beef and dumplings followed by Apfelstrudel and Bohemian pancakes and fruit. The food was good

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
