Picked this hotel due to affordable price and great location. It's less than a minute walk to Charles Bridge (located in Malá Strana area instead of busier Old Town) but since it's located on side street, it's quiet at night. I stayed at room T2 (tower room with no lift) Though there's no lift for tower room, concierge helped me...

I can fully recommend this hotel. It is just off the Charles Bridge in a quiet square but close to all the attractions. Very clean comfortable room and a good choice of food for breakfast , including Prosecco. The hotel staff are superb , Marek in particular on the first night recommended restaurants and his choice the Pod Vesi was...

Really lovely stay in a hotel that is in such a perfect location. Lovely neighbourhood in the picturesque mala strana, and only a short walk over the Charles bridge for the delights of old town. Staff were very attentive throughout, in particular Marek, who gave us a fantastic list of restaurants to try while we were in town (Kampa Park...

Marek, who I gather is something of a legend, greeted us after pick up from the airport (650 czk, pretty good) and told us our room was ready even though we were about 3 hours early for the usual check in at 3pm. Nothing fazes Marek. He blasted us - in a good way - with loads of information, a...

The hotel is located at the historical center Prag 1 and has car parking in front of the building. Hotel charges parking and delivers the parking card by a deposit charge. This is extremely convenient for people who prefer to travel by their own cars. In this way, you can use other blue parking zones at other parts of the...

This very nicely updated hotel was our home for 3 days in the beautiful city of Prague. It is located just steps from the St Charles pedestrian bridge(Karluv Most). and right beside the towers on the West side of the bridge. Prague is an easy city to walk, and the Bishop's House is very nicely located to climb up to...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
