Visited from UK stayed 2 nights July 16. Rooms clean and comforable, although dated as is most of the hotel. No aircon in the hotel which made the rooms very hot during summer. Small fridge available in room. Free wifi good. Breakfast selection ok. No bar, some vending machines selling tea and coffee. Fitness suite and sauna available but have... More

Loved our stay! Good location, quiet neighbourhood and the hotel is really close to the city center (5-7 minutes walking). Very nice, helpful and friendly staff. The room was nice and comfortable with a clean bathroom. The breakfast was more than okay. Everything was as we had expected.

Just returned from 3 nights at this hotel and I can't complain. First impressions were the hotel was a bit dated and the rooms could do with a bit of decor but for the price it was perfect. Good location. Rooms cleaned daily. Friendly staff, what more can you ask for. Rooms don't have air con and it can be... More

We booked through a last minute holiday deal, so got our room and flights very cheap - for the amount we paid, this hotel was fantastic. I'm not sure how much it costs if you book normally, so don't know about the value for money in general. The room was nice and the bed was really comfortable, especially the duvets... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. We paid for a suite, the room was clean and spacious. The bathroom also clean and functional. Breakfast in the morning was good, lots of choice. There is an excellent Italian restaurant round the corner and the hotel is ideally located called alforno focacceria. Very good value if you just want... More

My fiance and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in June. Overall the hotel met our expectations and it was in a great location for walking to all of the sites and many places to eat and drink. We didn't use any transportation (except the taxi to/from the airport) as it was so easy to get around -... More

This hotel is somewhat shabby. But the staff is very friendly. Our room was clean, but worn. Wifi works best in the hallway, not at all in the diningroom. The walking distance to downtown is perfect. Palladium shoppingsenter is right around the corner. You must try the Indian restaurant on the corner, K The Two Brothers.

It's a nice little hotel which is about a ten-fifteen minute walk from the old square, although the tram/ bus was just up the road if you didn't fancy the walk, we never used the public transport but it looked to have an excellent and regular service. We stayed bed and breakfast, the room was clean although a little on... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
