Very nice hotel. You need to be quite fit for walking everywhere as we did but it is located in a very nice area with greay resturants within a short walk. Food also good in hotel. Staff very helpful and all spoke very good English...More
Some wonderful days in the historically amazing city of Prague - during their all-time heat wave record, somewhat of a challenge. The Ametyst is close to top-notch; everything works, from extremely nice staff to functionable and proper accomodations. Pretty good art in the lobby bar...More
The ladies at the front desk were really polite and helpful. The bartender on the other hand - seemed like he was having a rough night and was kind of rude ! The hotel is located in a really nice quiet neighborhood, however its a...More
We stayed here for a 5 night city break and were not dissapointed at all. The hotel was spotless, rooms very good, the only very minor thing we could fault was the shower screen was missing from our bathroom - hardly a show stopper.
This hotel was fascinating. I stayed here with my wife and we both had a great time. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were very very good. The restaurant offered a great menu, and the food was delicious.
I will go here again,...More

Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighborhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the
world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.

As far as the early check-in, we arrived early and the hotel graciously offered to hold our bags for us. They did get us into a room a little sooner than regular check-in time. It probably depends on how full the hotel is and how quickly they can get the rooms cleaned. I did find the hotel accommodating.
