This is beautiful, clean very typically tiny European hotel. If you are looking for a true European experience-this is your hotel. Not far from the old square either. A short bus ride and the concierge is very helpful getting you on the right bus
The service was great Gregory welcomed us with a smile, he was very polite showings us the surroundings. There is a private parking but the entrance is a bit too narrow for larger cars, like SUVs. Everything else was great, we had cleaning service daily, new towels new toiletries. Old town is 20 min walk, you have supermakets and restaurants around Zizkov neighbourhood.
This hotel is a hidden gem. It is a building from the 1700's and full of charm. We were on the second floor and our room and bathroom were spacious. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast buffet was great and there were many items you could order off the menu. It was located about 2 blocks from the square that had many restaurants and shops.
I’ll start with the very little positives there was, the bed was very big and quite comfy and the reception staff were quite friendly, apart from that there was nothing positive about the place, very old and tired looking, room was so small it was almost like a hostel, we paid extra for a premium room so I dread to think what the standard was like, horrible interior decor felt like an old haunted house, extremely hot in there like an oven with no ac just a little fan that just blows hot air back at ya, you open the window and it’s very noisy outside and you get a lot of bugs coming in so you can’t win, cleaning services were rubbish they basically just made ya bed once a day, no toiletries replaced, no teas, coffees, milks replaced, this was the worst part of our trip knowing we had to return here every night, we were so disappointed.…
Our group had two rooms and both experienced problems with housekeeping and breakfast. Housekeeping did not come for 3 straight days. I went to Reception who had it cleaned within the hour. They were very tight with supplies such as toilet paper and shampoo and soap. The breakfast was the same thing every morning. The man who served was nice and cooperative but the woman did not want to be bothered by replenishing and special needs. We had asked for ground or first floor (no lift) but we were on second and third floors. Reception was nice and helpful. It was close (7 minute walk) to a main tram stop and then one stop to the red line metro.
