The drive from and to the airport was on time and very friendly. (I believe at had nothing to do with the hotel, but the deal). The hotel is nothing better than standard. Location can be comfortable, if you are understand the tram timetables and maps. Rooms are clean and apuiped with minimal needs. We found it quite frustrating that after a whole day out side in the city and sites, or early morning get ups, there was no way to have a cup of coffee/tea. Had to go out to a coffee shop. The staff are "filling" their jobs, not much more. The city is beautiful, interesting and tasty.
excellent hotel, located a few steps from the center, truly qualified staff. the very kind and professional waitress. perfect breakfast, really great lunch and dinner. good to the chef.the understanding and professional receptionist was available in everything
Absolutely the worst experience possible from a hotel. Absolutely stay away. My mother (70 years old), sister and niece stayed at the hotel. During the stay my mother spoke with the front desk requesting to extend their stay by twodays during the weekend. The clerk said that she would take care of it and that they could extend the stay. Today, while we were traveling, the hotel took out all of their luggage out and said that there was no reservation, no room available. Not only did they not provide an answer on how such a thing can happen, they offered absolutely no help, were extremely rude and the only thing that mattered to them is that my mother sign the paper for paying for the nights they stayed.A hotel that doesn't take responsibility for their employees work, throws a 70 year old woman to the street should be banned from giving service. Stay there at your own peril. clear of this place.…
I liked this hotel because the room was very big, it had a good location near the subway station and trams by the door, also air-conditioning which I was missing in Europe. It was also pretty and near the main train station (I recommend you take an uber, because the taxi driver at the station ripped us off ). I think the quality of the breakfast could be improved (specially the bread).
I stayed here for 4 nights and it was great. Nice staff and the breakfast was varied and fresh. The meals in the restaurant were very good. Rooms were super clean and nice. The only downside it it was a bit of a walk to the many attractions Prague has to offer. I would definately stay here again as the area was very safe and well known.
I read numerous bad reviews on this hotel thankfully they were all wrong. I was woken by the glass collection pick up but it only took a minute and I went straight back to sleep. The food was excellent value and was very tasty. The shower that had so many bad reviews was a traditional cheq shower it is just a shower head in a bath tub .you are within walking distance of the old square I would recommend flat shoes as the streets are cobbled. The number 14 tram will also get you there you can buy tickets from reception. Always get reception to get you a taxi it's cheaper. The only downside is that there are no tea making facilities in the room
The hotel is in a 18th century old building, of course renovated with the insides keeping some baroque atmosphere. The hotel is at 2 minutes walk from Florenc metro station, a junction of lines B and C meaning that you can easily get everywhere with ease and not far from old city square and Jewish quarter, these locations can be reached by foot. Breakfast is ok, without being exquisite, sometimes the restaurant can be crowded. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and beddings are changed daily.
I booked superior room. And to my suprise the room had a balcony. Interior of the room was old but rooms where really clean. Also the service in the hotel restorant was really good as well as service in the hotel reseption.
My wife had arranged this trip for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. On reading reviews about the hotel it seemed an appropriate location. The external appearance is quite fascinating, the lobby very clean and highly polished. However the reception staff were cold and quite direct. There was one male member of staff always around the reception who appeared to be sleeping every time we saw him. On booking the room my wife had emailed the hotel explaining that she was disabled, required a walk in shower and a double bed. We were given a room on the top (5th) floor located in the very corner of the building. The shower was a walk in one (bonus) the room however because of its location (the attic) had a slopping ceiling making manoeuvreing around the room difficult. The curtains were held behind a rail but kept falling out so that the fell straight down as apposed in line with slopping ceiling. The double bed was two single beds pushed together with two separate quilts and pillows that were as flat as pancakes. There were no tea/ coffee making facilities. The windows were Velux and due to the torrential rain the noise of the rain pounding was horrendous especially in the middle of the night. We couldn’t have the windows open as the rain would pour in down the walls. Not the hotels fault but due to location of the nearby motorway the noise of the traffic was constant and the constant sound of emergency vehicle sirens was off putting. We could hear them over a dozen times each day while in the hotel room and through the night. The restaurant is bland, cold and unwelcoming. The food was no different and I myself felt unwell the following morning due to under cooked meat. Breakfast staff were no different to to the reception staff. The lifts to the various floors are only just big enough for two people and small items of luggage. On asking staff for advice on getting to the various tourist points were unhelpful and at best confusing in their advice. I’m sure that some of the other rooms are more comfortable and welcoming but taking into consideration that they had been aware of my wife being disabled, the accommodation provided was unsuitable, unwelcoming and impracticable. On the plus side it’s location to town, restaurants, shopping, trams and trains is excellent. A 10 min walk takes you into the heart of shopping. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and a local market.…
A nice hotel in the central part of Prague. It's not very far away from the old town square, you can arrive there in 10 minutes by walking. The room was nice with classic style furniture. It would be nice to have tea/coffee making facilities though. WiFi was working perfectly. Breakfast was average. Staff was very friendly.
