Our corner room was perfect. We had views of the Charles Bridge, Vitava River and in the other directions a street with tourist shops. Breakfast consists of multiple breads, cheese, boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal and excellent coffee. The pillows and beds are equally superb even if you suffer from jet lag.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights over looking the Charles Bridge a couple of weeks ago. It is close to everything!! The excitement, the sounds, the smell of food cooking came through the windows makes me smile just thinking about it. The only downside is there is no lift (the hotel staff did provide assistance) but it's good... More

Large spacious rooms, located right on the Western end of the Charles Bridge. The location really couldn't be any better, at any price. The free coffee room was a good place to rest and plan the next expedition, although the occupants of the two rooms that opened onto it have my sympathy: The coffee machine wasn't quiet!

Perfect location with great view. Close to everything (Town center, bus-train-tram stations). Room was good and clean. Rich breakfast and a fairly good restaurant. Great services and value for money. Certainly my first choice for my next time in Prague.

This hotel has historical presence and was in a perfect location to everything. We were able to see everything we wanted within walking distances. I loved this city. It didn't have air conditioning but there was a fan in the room which made it comfortable. I would stay there again.

The hotel looks nice and has rooms with views of the bridge. Even though we did not stay there, we ate in their restaurant outside and the food was delicious! Service was great and we were impressed with the taste of everything we ordered. They have enough variety on the menu including some Czech cuisine. Really wonderful location and experience!

We chose this hotel due to its historic nature and its close proximity to the Prague castle. It's situated right at the west end of Charles Bridge amidst numerous shops and restaurants. Our room had a view of the bridge and a small sitting room with desk in addition to the bedroom. We were on the fourth floor, which is... More

This was my third stay and I was surprised at the service which we experienced. We stayed three nights and I had requested a room with a view of the bridge. I booked through the Hotel as I wanted this to be very nice with no unknowns. Our room was on the second floor, it was moderately sized and comfortable... More

This was my seventh visit to Prague and my second stay at U Tri Pstrosu. The breakfasts were even better this time with an excellent choice of both hot and cold food and drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms clean and comfortable. There is a lot of noise all day and into the night because of... More

It started with a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room and the Prague Marathon at our door, this is a really special hotel. We paid a little more to get a larger room with a view of the Charles Bridge right below our window. And it was worth it. The hotel is In the center of everything. You can... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
