I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague. This hotel is clean, quiet, good service, great breakfast, and average wireless Internet. It is central with secure parking if needed. It is next to police station on a quiet side street. But easily walkable in 5 minutes to the Charles Bridge and places to visit.

Stayed here in July 2011 (I'm not very good at getting round to writing reviews) for 3 nights. Fantastic stay, great location, wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Great building with interesting history, feels quite unique when wandering around. Comfy beds, good air con, spotlessly clean and very quiet. Only minor issue for us was that the curtains didn't do a...

The room, the staff, the location, the breakfast -- all excellent. I thought that was all that needed to be said, but Trip Advisor wants me to write 200 characters so I'll mention what a beautiful place it is, rich in history, with staff who spoke excellent English and were very helpful. Two computers for guests, free wifi everywhere.

What a great hotel! I love cement walls and floors for quiet. We were given room 216 which was nice and quiet. (At 6:00 am each morning there was a LOT of banging of doors downstairs which I assume was staff, but we are up by then so I didn't care.) According to the fire map, only a couple of...

Had a great stay at Hotel Unitas. As in other reviews, there is nothing to dislike about this hotel. Staff from the moment we walked in were friendly & helpful in every way. Rooms were large, clean & quiet. Location was perfect, with an easy walk to most attractions & pubs/restaurants/shopping. Breakfast was fresh & a good variety. Excellent value...

On arrival at the Unitas Hotel we were welcomed by very friendly and informative staff and given a welcoming drink. Our room which was looking over the court yard was immaculate and roomy with a beautiful bathroom, a/c worked well and was quiet, beds were comfortable and breakfast was delicious (choice of continental, hot food and fruit) Afternoons you can...

Great find in Prague! The hotel sits on a quiet street a very short walk from everything. The rooms are nice, new, clean. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast was great. The staff was very good and helpful. For the price, it's harder to find a nicer hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

We have just spent four nights at the Unitas Hotel. What a fantastic place - I can only echo the previous comments, the reception staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel and rooms are absolutely spotless. Breakfast was delicious. A few minutes walk from the Old Town and Wenceslas Square so ideally located too.

Stayed for 3 nights in early August 2013 as part of a trip through Europe with friends. Location: Within walking distance of the city center, Unitas is ideally located for exploring Prague on foot. Day or night, you can easily take a 5 minute walk right to town center, which is especially ideal for any early risers who want to...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
