The hotel is good value for money. Nice walk along the river to the old town and new town. Staff helpful and smiling. Room not overly huge but more than sufficient for our stay. Breakfast good and replenished quickly.

What to say but don't book there if you're looking for a comfortable 4 stars hotel in Prague! It's only from outside that you'll have this impression of an high standard hotel! I didn't know that a 4 stars hotel wouldn't put you a mini bottle of water in your room, that you are obliged to go to the supermarket...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in late December 2016. We found it perfectly adequate for out 3 day break. The hotel is in a safe area next to a tram stop and the underground although we did not find it necessary to use any of the public transport that was available as it was a 20 to...

The staff were courteous, the room was OK, and breakfast was just what the doctor ordered. The location was perfect to get anywhere within Prague, with Tram and Metro in a couple of minutes walking distance. All of these reasons are why I booked the hotel in the first place. However; The room and corridor simply stank of cigarettes, as...

We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights and overall we can say it was nice. We arrived to prauge to celebrate my mum 70s birthday. We wish to say thank the staff for organising a free bottle of Champagne waiting for us! It was a nice surprise;) The hotel is clean and staff is very friendly. It is not...

The Baroque elegance of Prague's statuesque buildings with a hint of Rococo littered here and there in the hidden corners must elevate it into the top three most beautiful cities in Europe. The only diversions are the regular glimpses of Bauhaus apartment blocks that resonate from the Soviet era with their broad-shouldered stance insisting that when all is said and...

Very handy hotel for visiting Prague, including Christmas markets. Easily located within 20 minutes walking distance of Wenceslas Square, 25 minutes from Old Square, which are the main market areas. Staff were very friendly and helpful, with excellent English. We were given a map on arrival and the receptionist showed us where to get trams and Metro, if required. Our...

Stayed here for four nights. The hotel is basic but clean and in a great location. It's about a 20 minute walk into Prague centre but a pleasant walk with lots to see. The river is literally 5 mins down hill and Charles Bridge about 20 mins. Breakfast is buffet style and caters for most tastes. The coffee machine does...

This hotel is just what is needed. Convenient location near tram and metro stops and the river. Clean and modern with very comfortable beds and warm central heating. Breakfast is varied and you can eat as much as you like. 24hour reception so it doesn't matter how late you arrive. Two little niggles- shortage of tables at breakfast and unreliable...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
