We could not have been more impressed by absolutely everything! All of the staff were fantastic. The room and facilities were first class and we could not have wanted, or asked, for more. The food was wonderful too. Very good breakfast. Can't wait to go back!
We were just at this hotel from 3-6 september. Very nice value for money. The rooms are big and modern. Exellent staff who is always ready to assist you in any way. Smiling and easy to talk to. Very very good breakfast with everything you need from omelets over fruit and a variaty of helthy choices for everybody. Walking distance to the major sights and still locatet away from noise in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Would like to come again if ever in Prague.
We had the best stay at Maximilian. The employees are so nice and offer the best service. The rooms are clean and really nice. The decor is modern and homey. The breakfast was really good and the brasserie was nice to visit in the afternoon for a drink or a snack.
My husband & I celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Maximillian hotel. Every staff member we encountered was extremely accommodating, from the Receptionist to the breakfast/dinner host was eager to help make our stay enjoyable. Also, the location was conveniently within walking distance of restaurants, bars & historical landmarks.
Returned to the Maximilian with my Fiance to celebrate our anniversary and not only were kindly provided with the exact room we had requested but also with complimentary champagne and a very sweet card from the team to welcome us back. We had a great time in this beautiful hotel where warm & friendly service are priorities for the team. Thank you Maximilian team; once again, I left your establishment with joy in my heart and a thoroughly looking forward to returning. Morgane
Since my last visit (3 years ago) the hotel has been refurbished and is great on all accounts. Room layout, bathroom facilities etc. The breakfast is as good as before and the service has only improved. You feel like coming home to friends. The location is in a quiet area of the Old Town, still in the middle of it.
The hotel staff were really helpful and friendly! Hotel left us a nice couples surprise in our room. Room was extremely clean and amazing view. Close 10 min walk to old city but far enough to not be in the noise
We had an amazing stay over the weekend, we had an excellent time and the hotel was great beyond our expectations. The staff were all so lovely in welcoming us back to the hotel every time we walked in and were very attentive during our stay. Even the small extras they gave made our stay so lovely. Breakfast staff were so helpful and kind, even remembered our coffee order for the following day so they arrived when we sat down. Lovely food and lots of it! Great location only a few minutes from the Old Town Square and about 20 minutes to Charles Bridge and across to Mala Strana. They stored our bags for us when we checked out and even had our room ready at 11am for check-in when we arrived. We had the small room with the balcony and it was so lovely and bright. Really nice to have the balcony as we love this, although if you are unsure, it is a very small room so a larger one may be preferred. The balcony room was on the top floor and wasn't accessible by the lift the whole way up, so note this if this is important to you. I will definitely be recommending the hotel to friends and family. Thanks again!…
Wow... The Maximilian hotel team was a major factor in the magical time we had this December in Prague. These are some on the nicest, most attentive and professional personal we have have ever encountered. The room was nice and cozy, exactly in accordance with our expectations, but the whole hotel has a boutique manner which is charming and hart-warming. The breakfast is simply great: tasty and healthy, accommodating to our little quarks, full service Beware : the Kaiser-Shmaren is simply addictive. The small bar/ coffee shop in the entrance is pro-level and lovely and as the hotel guest you get it free. We fully exploited the free gym access at the Josef hotel near by. Was great also. The SPA was superb at Thailand level (almost). Prices are european but reasonable. Location is great with a Michelin star restaurant next door, another great local restaurant (lokal), across the ally. The jewish quarter attractions are one minute away and the rest of the old city hot-spots are 5 to 10 minutes slow walk away. Last but not least, our lovely hostess Alyska : Simply the best. We are sure we will come back. You should try it as well. …
The staff at the hotel really made our stay a pleasure. From a warm welcome to a fond farewell, every interaction with every person was at all times friendly, efficient and professional. The hotel is newly refurbished and very clean. The brasserie is reasonably priced and the food was fresh and tasty. Whilst there we availed of Planet Zen Spa. The therapists were competent and attentive and the treatments were reasonably priced for their quality. This is a very nice hotel in a great location and the team of staff there ensured we had a great week in Prague, despite arriving one hour after the state of emergency was declared during this never ending pandemic! Highly recommended.
