We regularly visit Plant Zen Spa located inside the Maximillian Hotel and decided to try lunch there in the Cafe seating at the front entrance. I understand the hotel has new owners and we are quite impressed with the extensive renovations. Clearly the Owners and Architect did not cut any corners ! The attention to detail is evident everywhere and you get a sense of quality and hight standards that I would imagine have been established from the top down. Now about the food. Simple lunch menu is very reasonably priced, we both chose the carrot soup which was amazingly tasteful. My Peruvian Beef Stew and Purple Potatoes was likewise very flavorful and unique. I highly recommend a visit, the value is beyond expectations !
We stayed here for a city break and it was an excellent choice. Ahead of our stay, we emailed and requested a high, quiet room, which was acknowledged and given to us. The room was lovely. Clean, modern and comfortable. We were given drinks free of charge in the mini fridge (once gone- you had to pay for further drinks). The toiletries were lovely in the bathroom and I didn't have to use my own that I took. We were also given drink tokens when we arrived to use in the hotel bar. The bar was quiet and the bar attendant was very friendly and helped to recommend decent beer and wine for us to chose from. The breakfast was amazing! Due to Covid-19 health and safety measures, the hotel had changed the breakfast to an A La Carte menu rather than the buffet. There was great choice, including porridge, peanut butter cheesecake waffles (!) and a choice of omelettes on the menu. Staff were really friendly at breakfast, Scott asked us about our day and had a friendly chat with us one morning. They made sure the water and juice was always filled up; they asked if you wanted more coffee and also offered extras once ordered, for example croissants. The breakfast was beautifully presented (nuts and fresh fruit on top), I particularly liked the animal faces made on my cappuccino! It really was a pleasure to stay somewhere, where there was attention to detail and the staff treat you well; they are happy to help you and seem happy to work there!…
Absolutely nothing to complain about, and much to enjoy! A truly pleasant hotel. I stayed here two nights on a business trip to Prague. Beautiful newly created (from October 2019?) lobby, restaurant + rooms in a stylish palette, sincerely friendly staff, comfortable bed with great pillow selection, nice cosy modern furniture. Real wood Parkett floors, unobtrusive perfect air conditioning and ventilation. Breakfast was simple (not a huge messy buffet) and very good too. Very central location, perfect for seeing Old Town + walking around. I'd happily stay here again.
I am on a business trip with my 7 year old daughter. We were booked to stay at this hotel and I must say I can’t ask for anything better than the level of excellent service the staff provide during this Covid19 time! Quiet location yet very close to the Old Town. Food is excellent! The front of house team is so helpful (sorry I can’t remember all names). The lovely young lady Eliska in the catering team is the best! We are so well looked after. Thank you.
I’m a local of the city and Chef Scott is creative and uses excellent quality. Go! Local ingredients with creative flair. Superb quality. Prices very fair. Right in heart of old Prague. Short walk to everything
