We have just spent 3 nights in The Savoy Hotel, Prague. It is a beautiful hotel and each and every member of staff went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough - the true definition of 5 stars!

Stayed for 4 nights end of December until 1st Jan. Hotel is in a fantastic location. Easy to get to from airport in public transport. Got a team/bus pass and got around easily. Great restaurants in walking distance and Tesco on the tram line so good for cheap drinks and snacks. Breakfast was very good although had run out of...

We have just spent four days in Prague staying at the Savoy which has been a pleasure. The service and friendliness of the staff is quite extraordinary. Special thanks to Pavla who brightens up every morning (and thank you for our macaroons) and to Tanja who looked after us so well. The breakfast is superb. We initially stayed in one...

We stayed for five nights over Christmas. The hotel's lobby and surrounding areas are beautiful, filled with bronze sculptures and polished marble. The restaurant and rooms a little less so, the decor looks like its from the late 90s. We didn't have many issues, but here are... The downsides: 1. The room was unbearably hot, so we had to open...

We were 3 families with children visiting Prague for the first time and we had an excellent stay at the Savoy. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially the ones attending to the breakfast buffet. The spa was clean and well kept and the kids enjoyed a fun afternoon in the jacuzzi....

I have conducted tours to Prague several years and often stayed with clients in hotel Savoy. First it is very central, good value for money for a four star hotel, the rooms are central, the breakfast is excellent and the staff (who has been there for years) couldn't be friendlier or more professional. A particular praise to Petra in the...

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
