We booked this hotel through Voyage Prive and stayed for three nights at the beginning of November It is the perfect location for exploring the old town as it is only a five minute walk to Old Town Square along an avenue of designer shops The hotel itself was as expected for 5* The breakfast was excellent with plenty of...

This hotel is very comfortable and in an ideal position within Prague-easy to walk to most of the tourist must sees.6 of us stayed here;female friends and we booked over a year ago.It was therefore disappointing to be given 2 rooms with double beds instead of singles -and then have the hotel struggle to find twin rooms "because they were...

We - as a group of 10 - had a perfect weekend in this Hotel. First the outside look does not reflect the inside of the property. All was up to the expected level with an old touch luxury hotel feel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A whish with our reservation was followed fast and fully satisfying. Cleanliness and...

We stayed for two nights as an extension of a Danube River cruise. The exterior of the building is pretty unremarkable, it's inside where the hotel shines. The front desk staff was exceptionally efficient, handling our group of 27 travelers in practically no time. Our bellman, Peter, had our baggage to the room (#246) and showed us the "ropes" in...

This hotel will definitely not astonish you by its architecture, it is an unappealing building in otherwise very nice area of Prague full of architectural jewels. However, the location is very good, close to many sights, restaurants and pubs. The hotel is average. Basically, everything was in order, the room was clean, the breakfast was good, the staff was helpful,...

My wife and I spent two nights as a base for a city break. Whilst we did not dine here we found the service, facilities and staff, met all expectations of a four star hotel. Situated in the Jewish Quarter, a stones throw from the Old Town and within easy reach of the Charles Bridge, it provides a great base...

My family stayed here prior to a Danube river cruise as this was the hotel suggested by the cruise company. The hotel is wonderfully located within walking distance of Prague's Old Town, the Charles Bridge and the old Jewish Quarter. It is everything one would expect of a starred hotel. The staff was prompt and efficient in responding to my...

Well the restaurant and view are awesome but the food is decidedly average :( hardly any of it, fairly tasteless and unimpressive. Would only recommend it for a coffee out on the terrace. Glad I wasn't paying and it was an industry dinner, wouldn't go back.

This was my first visit to Prague and will probably be may last. The Intercontinental Hotel was pretty average and only convenient because I was on a tour and had coaches to take me everywhere. There were two large single beds in my room, no double or queen, that could not be pushed together. Although there were tea making facilities,...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
