The hotel is located at the Old Jewish Quarter, within walking distance of Charles Bridge and the Old Town. Lots of good restaurants and shopping around. The hotel is situated next to the river. The rooms are large and clean. The bar area is good and relaxing.

The hotel was very luxurious, our room was well kept, very comfortable and quiet. The included buffet breakfast was superb, unbelievable wide choice and high quality. On top of all that, the hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Prague on foot. The heat wave experienced during our stay made the air-conditioned room a haven.

Top hotel, definitely worth it's 5 stars. We were celebrating an anniversary and they left us wine and chocolates in our room on our arrival. Amazing breakfast. Amazing hot chocolate!! Only thing I would say is the bar prices are very expensive.

Liked: Located just a few minutes walk away from the famous old town square and on the same street as the high end shopping strip. Centrally located close to Charles Bridge and many other attractions. Rooms were very well equipped and modern. We had a room with a queen bed as well as two sitting chairs and coffee table. It...

From the moment the Limousine picked us up from the airport until our return the three days we spent at the Intercontinental were wonderful. The staff are great, the rooftop restaurant has food and views to die for and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Free wifi and a full gym and indoor pool were added bonuses.

Very large busy hotel catering for groups of tours. We had booked a king executive room for 4 nights but on arrival only a standard room was available. This room was very small for a 5 star hotel and requested to be moved for the following 3 nights to our original room choice. The king executive room was bigger with...

Stayed here for a few nights and having mixed feelings about the hotel. It is a little dated but well maintained. They have a nice spa area with a large pool and a great garden in the middle of the city. Also the location is perfect to explore prague. Rooms are fully equiped with bathrobes and iron board. The lobbybar...

1. Looks like a 1970s-communist era facility to accommodate a Soviet Bloc conference. Architecture & decor out of sync with the beautiful neighborhood, but one can't blame management for that, it is what it is 2. Service - not much. We never asked, but neither did they 3. Pricing - We can't speak for the riverboat-cruisers and package-deal folk who...

Very good hotel centrally located near the very vibrant Old Town square, a must-see in Prague. Rooms are very nice, service is good if a little detached and humourless. But highly recommended. Prague is easily the jewel of Europe, very beautiful city that rivals Paris in its splendour. Put Prague on your must visit list!

Great hotel, breakfast, concierge, and staff. Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing location, just a quick walk to the Old Town Square, the boats, the Charles Bridge and a quick tram ride anywhere else. We didn't make it to the spa or rooftop restaurant just because there was so much to see in the city.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
