Excellent hotel at very central location in beautiful Prague. Everybody was very friendly from front desk to restaurant staff. Lobby seems to be renovated- got rid of its stale feeling! Got a free room upgrade with stunning river view. Room spacious with excellent bathroom. Breakfast all you can wish for with made to order omelettes etc. Spa, fitness and sauna spacious and complete. So a perfect stay!!

I stayed here with my family at Christmas time to see the Christmas market. Three of us stayed in one room. The room was very spacious with two king beds and a separate sitting area. The staff was very helpful in suggesting dining options as well as tracking down a tour guide when our previously arranged tour guide got sick. The hotel is right on the river and was a short three block walk to the old town center and Christmas market. I loved the hotel.

We stayed here for 4 days during the period the country went into lock down for corona virus. The staff were fantastic. Helpful friendly honest people who were facing job losses and huge uncertainty but still took the time to try and help us out. They offered to ring around local restaurants so we could find somewhere to celebrate our anniversary. They tried to keep us up to date with what was happening even though they must gave been desperately worried for their own future. Great view of the river. 5 minutes walk from everywhere. Definitely coming back

I had a great stay in Intercontinental Prague. I was upgraded to a corner room with a nice river view. A tasty birthday cake along with light refreshments were waiting for my appetite at the desk. The room was spacious. The bed, along with set of pillows, was very comfortable. I reserved a breakfast package upfront that was rich and tasty. Stuff was nice and responsive. Would stay again once in town.

We had planned this trip many months in advance and chose the Intercontinental for its world wide reputation. It was a sad disappointment. In spite of management trying their best to compensate us for all of their shortcomings (mostly tied by corporate) nothing could compensate us for a lack of a good nights rest. From the mundane facade, to the lack of hospitality management (that barely spoke English) to dated and dirty rooms, it was a thorough disappointment. The only upsides was the view of the river from our room, and the fact that the general manager over compensated us on our departure. Sadly, they’re the only two good things I can say about the hotel, which has recently been purchased by the Fairmont so there’s hope for this place, maybe two years down the line, at best.…

Loved this hotel! It's made me a convert to staying at these hotels wherever I can if possible (currently at the one in Doha which has prompted this review). The restaurants,rooms and facilities all great. Service impeccable and spa treatments amazing with the most amazing staff. Well located so definitely worth staying if you're after something more comfortable and upmarket.

I have stayed at the InterContinental Prague on many occasions over the past 10 years and have never been disappointed (after all, where else can you stay that has a Rolls Royce dealership in the lobby). Yes, the exterior of the building is dated, but not the interior. It will begin renovations in May 2020 and then become part of the Fairmont Hotel Group. Located on Parizska, the Rodeo Drive of Prague, you can easily shop at Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Cartier and much more. Plus, you are only a few steps from great restaurants and Old Town Square.

We have chosen this hotel because of its location in the city centre, accessible parking and a swimming pool. The hotel looks like from a communist's era but inside it is new and clean without an old odeur what these types of the hotels usually have. There is a complimentary swimming pool with a jacuzzi and really good equipped fitness gym. The room is nicely furnished, however TV should be rechanged as a screen does not show real colors. Also the window cannot be opened. The parking is inside the hotel but it is quite expensive. You can be in the city centre in 5-10 minutes, you are just located on the street Parizska which is famous for a luxury shopping. It is very expensive there and I would recommend to go to shopping little bit further-Na Porici street.

I’ve travelled a lot and been to many Intercontinentals but haven’t seen such an unfriendly reception and unwelcome attitude. Okay, maybe this girl has been working all day and she is tired but still treat your guests with respect and at least a fake smile. Just asked for my passport and gave me the key with no information on how to get to the room, what floor, where and what time is the breakfast, where the fitness room or what kind of restaurants in the hotel... That’s not a 5 star hotel reception!!!

Have been to many Intercontinental hotels, I’m not sure whether this hotel is part of the group, but it sure does not stand with the standards. Rooms are ok, staff are mostly ok, service lacks some basics. Sorry but did not meet my expectations. A four star place (in it’s best days) On the good side- location is great, beds are comfortable. The bad- overpriced. For example, they charge almost 500 Crowns (about 20 euro) for a ridiculous movie on TV (a 32” lousy one, no smart features). Not that I was interested, but still, wtf? The ugly- Shower curtain! In 2020!!
