The hotel has absolutely perfect location, directly in the city centre. Walking s Distance from the best attractions of the city. Room was spacious, clean, with a big bathroom. Great idea with jacuzzi in the room, I enjoyed it every evening. Small minus was the lack of parking space, we had to park in the different garage which was not so far away. Breakfast was very tasty, with a great choice. For me very good.
Overall our experience of the hotel was fine but not great. The only downside is that the room wasn’t very clean ( a LOT of garbage under the bed and furniture) and maybe the jacuzzi bath could’ve been bigger. The breakfast is really good and recommended. The staff was nice.
Best location, clean, nice breakfast.kind staff,Special thanks to David ,he made our vacation special. The hotel is walking distance to nearly all of the must sees in Prague,no buses or taxis needed .The rooms are big and great value for the price
This hotel is so central to bars, restaurants and shops situated at Wenceslas Square. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. Breakfast buffet very good choice with omelettes made to order. Our special thanks to Sona for all her help.
An amazing hotel stayed here for a week the staff were very good. The rooms were lovely very clean and cool. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide range of choice. The location was excellent less than 10 minutes to the old town and only 2 minutes from the trams. The tram service is excellent best service iv ever had. If we ever visit Prague again we would stay here!!!
Just want to say that this hotel has been extremely helpful and understanding with what is going on. Both me and my friend were due to visit in April from the UK, all has been cancelled now unfortunately but the hotel gave us a refund and communication was great (unlike Ryanair). They were understanding that we could not move the dates as both of us are emergency services and can’t book leave for a while now. Hope to visit you soon and can imagine the stay would be excellent, thank you and good health to you all.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ambassador. Rooms were spacious and very clean and comfortable. We found all staff helpful and courteous. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of delicious food on offer and set us up for the day perfectly.
I have been 6 times in Prague, every time in a different hotel/location. The location of this hotel is good, But: The hotel shouldn't be 5 starts, I have been to 2-3 starts hotels which were much better. Really bad service while the rooms look really old, the Hot water didn't work for 3 evenings, and sometimes there was brown water coming out (picture attached) the reception promised to fix it but they didn't manage. In addition, the room window was on someone else balcony. Look for any other hotel, and I promise you, that it will be better.
This was our 4th visit to the hotel and although we enjoyed our trip we were a little disappointed with the hotel this time. On previous visits we were allocated a suite facing Wenceslas Square but this time we were given a suite on the 3rd floor that was dated and smelled damp... there was a dehumidifier in the room. I asked to be changed to another room and after waiting for a while the pleasant Duty Manager arranged a better room on the first floor. The reception staff were helpful and the porters, especially the night porter were excellent. We booked Dinner, Bed & Breakfast through Secret Escapes but initially we were given a voucher for dinner on one night only. This was fairly quickly resolved when the Restaurant Manager said that they had made a mistake. The welcome drink offered was only either orange juice or mulled wine so we declined. I am disabled and arranged for the hire of a disability scooter and the hotel staff accommodated this although it was not possible to take it to the room due to steps between the foyer and the lifts, so I had then to hire a wheelchair as well. The majority of the staff were excellent except the most of the ‘younger’ staff in the breakfast room who were offhand and bordering on being rude. When they were asked anything it was responded by a rolling of the eyes and then an indifference as if we were just an inconvenience. Without doubt training on Customer Service is required here. Dinner was in the restaurant on the lower level and was ok but we were a little disappointed with the menu choice. Overall we enjoyed our stay again but without doubt the hotel standards have fallen since our first visit. I must emphasise that the majority of the more mature staff were great but the younger breakfast staff certainly require customer service training. My thanks to the porter staff who were extremely helpful throughout, especially the regular night porter. We will consider returning.…
Me and my husband have visited Hotel Ambassador several times and have always been very happy with the rooms, the friendly staff, the breakfast and of course the location, close to everything. This time we also brought our two children. Thanks to the advice and tips we got from the girls in the reception, our children also found Prague fantastic, beautiful and very entertaining! We will be back, all of us!
