The hotel is very elegant, the room was comfortable and quiet. The neighbourhood is perfect to go out in the evening (nice restaurants and bars). The breakfast on the tarrace was also beautiful. Altogether absolutely advisable.
It is outrageous and I have been terribly shocked and horrified to learn that Le Palais Art Hotel Prague employs at the reception a criminal known for his money scams, extortions, financial fraud and dealing in drugs; His name is Michal Michálek, date of birth 27 March 1966. It is only natural that every honest manager of such a distinct hotel would immediately know what to do and how to deal with such an employee as Michal Michálek, by showing him the door. One could hardly say that, at present, Le Palais Hotel Prague would offer safe and reliable accommodation during your stay in Prague. Please for your own safety and security keep this in mind.
We stayed here as a family on 2 Jan 2020 for a few days break and had a lovely time in Prague. The hotel is extremely elegant and stylish, giving you an impression of understated luxury. The rooms and bathrooms were all well laid out and had impressively high ceilings. The water was nice and hot and the shower was satisfyingly powerful. If you do not want to walk to the city centre, you can take a tram which is very efficient and cheap, with the stop only 5 mins away from the hotel. The only reason why I have not given this hotel a 5 star rating is because we had trouble getting a table for breakfast on 2 mornings of our stay for our family of 5 and we were only staying for 3 nights. One morning we sat at separate tables, then two mornings later, we were told to wait in the lobby until a table could be cleared for us. We sat and waited for about 20 minutes and no-one came. We did see other people going in and getting seated. Eventually my husband went to the breakfast room and then we were seated. If he had not gone, we would probably have been waiting forever as they had forgotten about us. By this time, it was 10.10. They had run out of food and did not bother to replenish the dishes and in addition at 10.30 exactly, they came around to our table to tell us that the breakfast was now closed. Given it was not our fault that there were not enough tables, and that they had forgotten to seat us, we felt that this was unpleasant and unnecessary and we had to rush our breakfast which is never pleasant. The actual food was good when it was available. I think they need to expand their dining room and ensure that when the hotel is at full capacity, they have the capacity to seat all of their guests. Seems obvious but in this hotel, this was not the case.…
This is a fabulous hotel located close to the centre of Prague with no more than a 15 minute walk to Wenceslas Square. An impressive entrance and classic decor throughout is completed by professional and very friendly team members who are only too happy to help. I don't usually leave reviews but the whole Le Palais Art experience has left a very positive impression and we would have no hesitation in staying again on our return trip to Prague.
A beautiful hotel hidden away in a quiet corner of prague The staff are all very helpful and friendly, the food delicious and the rooms spacious and spotlessly clean Located a short walk to the main city centre Highly recommended
