The apartment is next to Intercontinental and managed by Intercontinental. As such, the price is much higher. We have booked two rooms and requested a connecting rooms however, they are not available and not being informed earlier. The entire apartment only level 2 have connecting rooms. Washer at level 2 and 4 as I recalled. So need to walk up...

The Golden Prague residence is a great place to base yourself in Prague. They are in the centre of the old town with plenty of bars and restaurants close by. The apartments are modern, clean and spacious. They are part of the Intercontinental hotel next door where you get free use of their facilities. Well worth the cost for a...

On our third visit to Prague, we decided to try Golden Prague Residence. After arriving at the airport, we took the Airport bus to the Florence main bus station. From there we walked for about 10 - 15 minutes to the hotel. The Golden Prague is a separate building of the Intercontinental Hotel. So we had to check in at...

The room itself I could not fault. Clean, modern and more than I needed. I also prefer to stay in hotel than apartments. However it's better than other apartment types like this I have stayed in. For instance they service room. For me the biggest pain was having to go to the Intercontinental for breakfast every day. Also even though...

We are used to hotel rooms when travelling around the cities of Europe, but decided to try taking a week in this place for a change. The quality of our apartment was superb and we felt like the only people there as our Superior Suit was quiet beyond belief! The apartment was clean, modern and well kitted out, with basic...

My wife and I travelled to Prague with our daughter for our anniversary. We chose the Golden Prague Residence due to its location in Old Town, its ability to provide a spacious room for the three of us (small kitchenette), and its affiliation with the Intercontinental next door (it is managed by the Intercontinental and all of its amenities were...

We couldn't be any happier to have picked this place. It felt like home away from home, having your own apartment style accommodation but with services from the Intercontinental hotel, best of both worlds. The residence is very modern, bed very comfy, there is a small living room to relax in between sight seeing, a small kitchenette with fridge and...

A great junior apartment, part of the Intercontinental hotel in Prague. A great locaton, room is very comfortable with kitichenette and very nice bathroom. The parking is the same as the Intercontinental. You can prepare breakfast in the room and save the cost of expensive breakfast at the Intercontinental. The best value for the money!

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
