Stayed 4 nights in this hotel during November. The man at check in as polite and very helpful and honest. I gave him 60 Euro's instead of Czech crown's to pay for local taxes. He was honest enough to tell me. My room was a good size with nice double bed. Furniture has seen better days, but fine for short stay....

We have just come back from Prague and stayed at the Residence La Fenice. This is a great hotel, located about 15 minute walk from the centre. There is a tube station literally a couple of minutes walk away also and it's 2 stops to the centre of town if you don't fancy walking. The hotel is very spacious and spotless....

Hotel is over a number of floors and looks to be converted apartments that said this wasn't a problem. Comfortable stay, however dependant on your neighbours could be a little noisy. Breakfast good and well presented, staff friendly special mention to the gentleman on reception who was most helpful including information and recommendations in respect of Prague. note comments on...

We were staying for 4 nights in la Fenice. A very nice hotel with large rooms and in very quiet surroundings. Good priced with breakfast included-everything you needed and fresh fruits every day. Beds very comfortable, space great in the room. Mini kitchen with fridge. Metro 100 metres from the hotel. After being in the tourist crowded areas it was...

This is past its peak and on its way down. It was like someone tried to remodel but didn't bother measuring anything. The toilet seat was half the size of the toilet. Ugh. The towels were tiny. The shower was minuscule. Our peephole was broken and someone had just stuffed tissue in it. The heater in the bathroom didn't work....

For a family it was nice as we had a little apartment like, in the attic. We are five and it was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a good ammount of variety. Needs some minor maintenance there and here.

The three star hotel in India was more hospitable, than this place. The absolute worst thing about living there - noise. Administration invites school groups, overpopulating suits with two times more people, than it should be in a room. And all those people are teenagers. Every floor of building is flooded with teenagers talking, blasting music, arguing, shouting. Noise starts...

Firstly don't believe the hotel is anything like the photos on the website or you will be disappointed. It is however a good budget option in a nice and very convenient location. We were given a two bedroomed room which was ideal for our family. There was a little balcony overlooking a pretty green courtyard in the main bedroom and...

Staying in Vinohrady & Vrsovice

Neighborhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighborhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
