The rooms and common areas were very clean, the staff was unfailingly pleasent, accomodating, and extremely informative. Eli at the front desk and our segway tour guide, Ondra, in particular ensured our group had an amazing time in Prague. Have been reccomending this place to all my friends!

I visited in the peak of the Prague tourist season, and yet still got a very reasonable price. This hostel is perfect for travellers, offering a very attractive location in the very heart of the city and a very very good service. The hostel staff are incredibly friendly and very attentive - for example offering cold refrigerated bottled water upon... More

Overall the hostel itself was ok, the staff were helpful and responded quickly to a leak in our room. The room was nice but the windows opened out onto the smoking area so we kept getting the smell coming in, there was also no communal area (apart from the smoking area) so we didn't get to meet anyone from other... There ain't anything that they dont have included in their room price. You can have free coffee, hot chocolate, water, food from their kitchen, etc etc. They have a black cat named Wifi which is sooo adorable. Don't worry she wont bite or scratch ! The only issue I had is that the common washroom is shared between both male and... More

Great location and comfortable stay. It is located at the tourism office, so you have great staff who can assist you with your stay. I would recommend to anybody looking to stay outside the old town, but close enough to everything else that this beautiful city us to offer

We stayed here in June for one night in a 3 person room. The hostel is stunning - built hundreds of years ago, the rooms were fitted out with modern furnishings, were spacious and clean. The managers of the property couldn't be more friendly - helping out whenever we had a question and always supplying free bottled water and coffee.... More

Very good location with friendly/helpfully staff. Located right on Charles Bridge makes access to everything easy. We stayed in private double room with ensuite, very large bed (but takes up most of room and limits room for luggage) and generous ensuite. Would stay again.

I had such a lovely stay at the Charles Bridge Economic Hostel! I am a young solo female traveller and from the moment I arrived in Prague they were very helpful and welcoming - the shuttle services from the airport that was organised by them was worth the £20 in my opinion with a friendly driver. All the staff connected... More

I can't tell you how much I loved this Hostel! Charles Bridge Economic Hostel was truly the best hostel experience I've ever had, and I've had many! The staff is exceptionally friendly. I commented on how kind they are and Michael (front desk staff) said "Well yeah, we treat people how we want to be treated when we travel!" This... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
