I was very happy with my stay here. The dorm room was nice and spacious, with single beds and lockable bedside tables. It was nice to not feel crammed into a small room in bunks like so many other hostels do to make that extra...More
Location of this place is just perfect...just next to charles bridge.
Its more of a Hotel than a hostel. We booked a 4 bed room. They are more like a service apartment. Comes with small kitchen, toilet/washroom.
I flet that the area was little cramped...More
I stayed in the one bedroom apartment which was great, it was away from the hostel but only a short walk. Great location, close to grocery store as there is a small kitchen in the apartment which makes life easy.
The hostel is at the excellent location! It is so easy to get to nearby attraction and just good to walk through the Charles Bridge every night back to the hostel.
For the room, I think not enough place/no place to put the jacket and stuff....More
we stayed there for a couple of days very friendly staff and informative as well. Pavel told us a lot of uncommon attractions we did not notice, also they offer free drinks and a great range of free and discounted tours that cannot be missed!

Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch
shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
Is Charles Bridge Economic Hostel non-smoking? We had a terrible experience at a hostel in Athens... despite all the no-smoking signs posted throughout the hostel, people ignored them and it was quite uncomfortable.

I don't recall seeing non-smoking signs but I don't remember seeing ashtrays either. Nobody smoked while I was there and there is an easily-accessible outside patio where people could smoke instead of inside.
