This is a quite, secluded spot, just off the main walkway to the castle. The rooms are beautifully decorated, more like Downton Abbey. This includes a community sitting area for wine and cheese, on the house, while you sit in your golden chairs. It includes and wonderful breakfast, set for the queen. Our bed was very comfortable. The staff is... More

Outstanding service, friendliness, cleanliness and location. Matthew and George were simply wonderful as the hotel Butlers and could not do enough for us. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have stayed in and the rooms divine! Reception staff were extremely helpful, suggesting routes and advising on the trams. Would go and stay there again in a heartbeat.... More

A stay at the Alchemist is nothing less than a real life fairy tale. The suites are located in a magnificently renovated old house, close to parliament, in Mala Strana. Inside, it's almost like a museum, with richly decorated rooms, antique beds, chairs and nonetheless all modern facilities you might need: a rain shower, air-conditioning, ... Staff is very professional... More

We knew it was going to be good from the reviews. The friendly, efficient staff, great decor, service and position, make this one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Nothing is too much trouble and the smiles are always there and so genuine. Our dinner at the sister hotel was the best we have had during our... More

We loved our stay at the Alchymist Prague Castle Suites. The hotel is perfectly located, it is a short walk to the Charles Bridge and it is below Prague Castle. We had a lovely room on the top floor. The day we arrived it was 93 degrees so we were thrilled with the in room A/C and the complimentary soft... More

The other 2 Alchymist locations in Prague are in TripAdvisor's top ten. I have no doubt the Castle Suites will be very soon. This new concept from Alchymist is absolutely outstanding - a Renovated old home in the shadow of Prague Castle with 8 rooms, delicious breakfast, and full time receptionist/butler. Dasa, Alena, Bobon, and others were all so very... More

From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were treated like family, and royalty. The service is outstanding, the décor is almost unreal (incredibly elegant), the location is great (and very quiet) and the breakfast is amazing for an 8 room hotel. If I could give this a "6", I would!

Small hotel with amazing decor and very helpful and attentive staff. It's like staying in a private mansion. Lots of cool art on the walls. The rooms are large and well appointed. The included breakfast was great and the staff takes care of your every need. Want some coffee in the library - no problem they just bring it to... More

My husband and I have recently visited Prague for the first and had the pleasure to stay in the Alchymist Prague Castle Suite Hotel. Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
