Nice hotel located near the castle in a quiet neighbourhood. 5 min from the castle, 15-20 min from the city center (walk across Charles Bridge). Our room was large and clean ; we were very surprised and pleased to see that. Lovely terrace on the rooftop for evening "meeting" and breakfast. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Really interesting choice if you...

Great breakfast with a view for 3.5 euro! Friendly staff and free computers in a lobby. Large rooms, clean and cosy beds. Great location in the city centre. I hope to get a room on the top next time for a romantic weekend.

Clean and quiet, super location just few steps away from the castle, with wonderful view of Saint Vita church tower, many great restaurants around, the most important is that the staff are really helpful and nice. Many thanks to the lady at the reception desk, definitely will visit again!

An amazing place! Yes, it doesn't have a common room but beside that everything is high quality. Breakfast is payed extra 3.5 euro but it's all you can eat, and not only cereal but also scrambled eggs, fried sausages, cold meats... loads of stuff! And if the weather is nice you can have breakfast on the terrace. Most comfy bed...

Of all the hostels in which I have stayed, I really liked this place! Its quiet, very clean and very well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also, the breakfast is a excellent deal - as a buffet, plenty to choose from and eat.

Cheap, very clean... huge rooms .. amazing bathrooms. . Best location , next to the castle walls and 12 minutes from Charles bridge... Don't shop at the shop next to the hotel... go a bit up and you'll find a good supermarket. .. next to some decent pubs... a good cocktail bar Hemingway .. good strip club

Quiet nice little hostel close to the Castle and not so far from the center. My rooms was very spacious and it had a small fridge inside, a big bathroom and a toilet. You can get really nice breakfast in the morning for about 3.5 euro inside the hostel. Perfect place for chilling out.

We really enjoyed our stay there! The room and bathroom were super clean and seriously for the price we paid, it was more like a hotel room. It was very spacious with a little fridge and everything you may need. The breakfast was also well worth it and the staff helpful. The location is also perfect, near to many important...

Not a particularly pleasant stay. They messed up our reservation but luckily had a spare room for us. To get to the hostel requires trekking up a steep hill, which is not great especially with luggage or if you are coming home drunk! It's in the middle of a very touristy area which made it easy to get places but...

Comfy bed, clean, nice showers. Very boring, nothing happens, very hard to meet people. The 'bar' is just the reception, no real common area except breakfast table (which I generally don't have). Ok if you just want a quiet nights sleep, I like to meet new people and have fun. Checked out early in favour of a more social hostel.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
