Travelers' Choice
Just like all the hotels in the Asten Hotels group, Boutique Hotel Klarov presented an exceptional architectural challenge. Since our takeover of the hotel in 2014, we ask ourselves every single day - how can we surprise you, our dear guests, during your stay and make it a memorable experience? We renovated all of our rooms in 2015, taking inspiration from the stories of the world's most famous musicians who have given concerts in Prague since 1989. Now you can meet superstars like Rolling Stones or Joan Baez, not in person of course, but as motifs. In our Club Lounge and the hotel's private garden you can experience the charm of French countryside right in the center of a global capitol. Our prime location in the center puts all the attractions within walking distance. We do our job with love and passion so that we can meet all your expectations and make you want to stay. We are passionate hoteliers, looking very much forward to seeing you.

Staying at the Hotel Klarov was a great choice to explore and experience Prague. We had an excellent view on the castle, super comfy bed and were close to the old town. Nice service, classy interior and yummy breakfast, definitely recommendable!

This hotel is a lovely place in the heart of Prague, very close to the top atractions including Prague castle and Carls Bridge. The location is just priceless. We really enjoyed our stay despite the fact we were woken up by the tram at 5AM. Next morning we asked the receptionist to switch our room and she did this right away. We originally booked the superior room with the bathtub and garden view but ended up in the deluxe room with the view to the Castle. I can just assume they wanted to offer us an upgrade… but if you dont want to be woken up by the tram make sure to get the “garden” view!!! The bed was comfortable with a great selection of pillows but none of them of the normal size of pillow just one great one and several tiny ones. The hotel itself is pretty loud, with big old doors and windows so you can hear everybody leaving their room especially the housekeeping room next door. Both our rooms were modern and nicely equipped, each room dedicated to the one famous artist. Our first bathroom was little bit rusty, with the bad smell from the shower drain and the door not working properly but the second one was more than OK. It was huge with a great bathtub. The breakfast was delicious with great selection of pastery, fruits, musli etc. It was served 7:30-10:30 but the first day we arrived at 9:30 and everything including the coffee was already cold. Next day we arrived at 8:00 and everything was perfect.

Our favourite hotel where I am regurarly coming back. I just recommend to enlarge the offer at the breakfast. Nice but busy view to the castle and very quiet view to "garden" of government. Clean rooms.

The hotel was in a great location, with a view of the Prague Castle out of our window. Classic older building, but meticulously clean, and updated. The room was very nice with a large modern updated bathroom. The folks working there were very friendly and attentive. And the included breakfast was outstanding - varied and fresh and constantly refreshed by the staff. This was not necessarily a hotel I would have chosen - it was a meeting place for a trip we were on - but we are certainly glad we did. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Room Tip: Rooms on the front side had a view of the castle but may be a bit too noisy for some as it faces...

the hotel is very nice. Location is perfect - just in the center between the old town and Hradczany. I suggest to book room from the garden side (the noise of trams is loud and not pleasent.) The rooms are very nice. For sure the home designer influenced on their final look.

This was our first trip to Prague and after a bit of research I chose to stay on this side of the river. There were a ton of choices, but Hotel Klarov's style appealed to me. I was also looking for a place with free parking. Check-in was easy. The front desk staff physically walked us to the room and showed us all the features which was nice. The room was nicely decorated and had a few extras (mini bar, for example). Breakfast was included but it was pretty standard free hotel breakfast. Nothing super exciting. We had it our first morning, but skipped it the second morning. When we booked the hotel, the weather was forecasted to be a bit cooler so we weren't that concerned that the hotel does not have A/C. It ended up being a bit warmer so it wasn't as comfortable for sleeping as we would have liked, but that is not the fault of the hotel at all. They did provide a fan which was a really appreciated service. The location was good for getting to the Old Town as it was just across the river. The view of the Prague Castle was nice. I would stay here again if visiting Prague.

perfect location, exceptional service, excellent breakfast. The view from the hotel window gives us a panorama of Czech architecture, the famous artists' bridge. I would like to thank the attendant for being very kind. All hotels should follow suit. I will be back for sure!

Perfect location if you are visiting Prague! It´s close to subway station and tram stops, plus it´s in walking distance to both the old town and malá strana. The hotel was very lovely, cosy decor and furniture, very kind and helpful staff. We stayed in the Beyonce suite and it was super quiet and calm. The room itself was much bigger than we expected, so was the bathroom. There´s a coffee machine with few coffee capsules available for free. The breakfast was tasty, they had a nice variety of foods to pick from, huge advantage was coffee such as capuccino included in the service. We visited in summer and they had a lovely courtyard/garden so we were able to enjoy our breakfast outside. For us, this was definitely 10 out of 10 and would recommend it anyday!
