We stayed in a twin room that had a shared bathroom with one other room. We also had a kitchenette in our room that had a kettle, microwave and fridge. It was perfect! The location is great, about a 20 minute walk to the main train station, and from there you can get a bus that takes you to the... More

Stayed a long weekend here to enjoy Prague. Very easy to get to anywhere in the city and elsewhere from here. Rooms are off from any main roads so it's quiet...if you don't mind the regular dong of the local church bell. Rooms are clean, simply furnished and adequate for a few nights. If you want to save money then... More

I was amazed. Good value for money. We had room with shared bathroom and toilet. The room was spacious, with microvawe, fridge and kettle. Rooms are clean Bathroom and toilet were pretty good. The only thing is our room was quite dark, but we were just coming back for night so it did not matter. There's basicly everything you need... More

Good service, reasonable prices. Near old town. Floor was a little bit untidy, bring slippers with you. A little bit confusing was that towels were changed every 2 days, what was unnessesary, in my point of view.

Agneta, a girl at the reception, was kind and helpful. You should ask for advice to her. But Martina, I don't know if she works there or if she is the owner, was not polite at all. Sometimes tourists need help and a friendly treatment, only if we are going to stay just for a night. Otherwise, some people could... More

This has a rating of 'very good' on booking.com which I don't think it quite deserves. This was certainly the most run-down room we stayed in during our 2 months travelling around Europe. The bed was comfortable enough though, and it was handy to have a little kitchenette (the kitchenette and bathroom were shared with the room next door). The... More

The place is simply great. Things that I liked -the location, is near a bus stop, a metro station, a railway station, a street called na papirov or something like that that has many stores if you are into that -the room was huge, I was expecting something really small based on previous experiences in other apart hotel, but my... Rooms are clean, staff are really friendly and kind. It is pretty close to old city centre( 15 minutes by walking ) and it is affordable. I definitely recommend this hostel. It is also suitable for families, couples and friends.

the aparthotel is located near to the city center, but also in a quiet part of the Praha1. The staff is very friendly, helpful and speaks perfect English :) breakfast is normal: you can make yourself a toast, eat it with cheese or some meat. Next time I'm in Prague it will be for sure my first place to check... More

We arrived at night from the train station and admitingly got lost several times, my girlfreind was hungry and angry (hangry) which made things even worse! We asked in many hotels and bars and eventually found it. Turns out it is quite straight forward just quite easy to go wrong. After that carry on we were so happy to get... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
