We were delighted to stay at this hotel. Huge room and bathroom, very elegant, in old style and comfortable. Very clean, good wifi, quiet and at the same time in the heart of old town. The breakfast was one of the best we ever had in any hotel, the choices of served food was overhelming, delicious coffee, pastries and fresh fruits.

Stayed 3 night in a superior 2 bed suite with terrace. Despite it sleeping 4 it was only my wife and I but there was very little price difference over 3 nights (about £20 total). The hotel recommended the larger suite and to be fair to them you get the higher/bigger terrace (from I what I could none of the terraces are small, ours was just huge). Staff are very helpful, all of them, as it was our anniversary the hotel chain have a contact email who arranged a nice surprise in our room which was lovely. We had room 605 which has a small kitchenette and large bedroom with dining table in the same room, the floor also has a bathroom. Upstairs was another large double bedroom and large bathroom as well as a door to the terrace. The kitchenette has a hob and fridge, though the hotel has no bar it does have an onsite Italian restaurant and minbar in your room (bottled water isn't free). Lots of bars nearby and nextdoor to the hotel is a minimarket. Buffet breakfast with cakes, pastries, pancakes, salad, meats, cereal, and hot selection. If I was being picky bottled water should be free and terrace furniture was a few cushions short. To give context to the negatives we have already decided we need to bring the kids to prague with us later this year (16 & 17) and we will be booking the same hotel (and hopefully same room). Both floors have aircon and electric velux windows, lower floor also has large normal windows. Pictures I have added are only upstairs as my wife was asleep downstairs at the time !!!! Downstairs also has a tv

The location of the hotel is great - a walking distance to everything you want in the old city and even the castle. Lots of food and drink choices around. The room was very big and comfortable. The design is old-Europe fashion, but that's a matter of taste... however, the bathroom was modern and also very clean. Breakfast was good with many options for kids.

- very friendly and helpful staff - excellent, variable “Italian style” breakfast buffet - nice room with comfortable beds, coffee/tea maker - excellent location in the old town (MIND: taxis, Bolt/ Wolt etc can’t drive you to / pick you up from the hotel as this part is pedestrian street - however they bring you nearby). - everything you want to see explore is in walking distance summary: highly recommended - would definitely come back

This is an old classic hotel. Its not modern so if thats what you want look elsewhere. We absolutely loved the old/classic historic feel of this hotel and had room 751 which is worth the extra money because the views and patios are breathtaking!! Ill try and attach a photo of our view. The ladies at front desk were lovely and spoke english,Czech AND Slovak :) They were really helpful. Beds were comfy but are always smaller in europe than north America. Nice and firm but not hard. The hotel is also centrally located so we parked the car (underground parking for a fee) and could walk everywhere. Driving in Prague is not fun so park and leave it there. Breakfast was the best free hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. It was nothing like the ones in North America. Something for everyone.

Very good hotel centrally placed in the city. Bedrooms clean and very good size. Restaurant gets rather crowded for breakfast especially on the Friday morning we were there. Breakfast a little bit disappointing. Tasteless sausages and bacon sitting in liquid. Revolting rubbery scrambled eggs. However, the croissants are to die for and there is natural yogurt on offer, something that I am very keen on for breakfast. The range of fresh fruit could also be improved. The reception staff were quite delightful and remembered out names and room numbers. The restaurant and housekeeping staff were also very friendly and efficient.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Leon D’Oro. Our room for 3 adults with 2 queen beds was quite spacious and very clean. The bathroom was also large and very clean. The hotel is centrally located and very convenient to tours, restaurants and stores but just far enough off the main square so it’s a quiet location. The breakfast buffet each morning was very good and there was a nice selection of items. The staff were friendly and helpful. One of the beds in our room could have been more comfortable (maybe a pad on top) but we had no trouble sleeping at all. We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Leon D’Oro and would definitely recommend.

The hotel has such a great location and the price I booked on booking.com was excellent. The room clean and large, I think the hotel gave me an upgrade considering how late it was. The bed was comfortable which is important and the linens were nice. The hotel overall needs to be renovated with the carpets and finishes are getting worn. The shower had great pressure. The room included a coffee and tea station, and they provided more than 1 packet per day which I always appreciate. My rate included breakfast which was better than I expected. Overall I’d highly recommend the hotel for travelers looking for a good value in the historic center.

The best location, very respectful employees. Full breakfast and big room. It is definitely the next choice. Great access to tourist centers and very good room service. Of course, there are some old appliances, but they can be ignored.thanks
