Stayed for two nights (Sat/Sun) for a short tip to Prague and stayed at this hotel. The location was superb, just off the main square. The hotel reception were very welcoming, the room (family of four) was huge, with two double beds (one slighter smaller for the kids), settee, kitchenette, mini-bar, en-suite. It was very clean and everything we needed. The breakfast was good, wide variety of choice and perfect for our needs. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Well let’s see, friendly staff, great breakfast, great location and…parking! What’s not to like? I would highly recommend the parking at the hotel as parking is impossible in the city. Either I forgot or didn’t see the option at the time, but we had to park about a half mile away in a parking garage. To get around it, reserve parking AT the hotel when you book a room. So much easier. Either way, they were super cool about you parking at the entrance for a few minutes before n that narrow street while you loaded/unloaded your bags.
Great location to sightsee in Prague. Ten minute walk from the astronomical clock and another 10 minutes to the Charles bridge. Near Wenceslas Square. Room was spacious, employees were very polite and the included breakfast was delicious!
First, I would like to commend the staff in this hotel for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Due to the sunny weather during our visit to Prague, we find the rooms very warm. Unfortunately the aircondition is not working at the time, but the staff explained politely that they usually have the airconditioning system on during summer time. Ive ask if I could have an electric fan however the staff said they dont have one, and they will try to find one for us. When we arrived back to the hotel that night, the fan was there already and they even left it turn on, to cool the room ahead.👍The hotel itself is very nice, clean and rooms are spacious with a character. The beds and pillows were also very comfy. The location were fantastic, just only 3 minutes walk to the square which is a bonus. The Buffet Breakfast is really good, tasty and have variety of choices. I would highly recommend this hotel for those going to visit Prague. The restaurant attached to the hotel also serves delicious food and drinks in reasonable price. Overall, its a positive experience and madebour holiday extra special. Will definitely go back in this hotel.🤗…
I stayed at the Hotel Leon D'Oro in April. This is an excellent hotel and very good value for money. The rooms are spacious, a big choice of food for breakfast, helpful staff, tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom and very centrally located. I was very happy with this hotel. If I can be a bit picky the decor could be updated but it didn't bother me. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.
Just back from an Easter weekend in Prague. The hotel was really outstanding. From the room to the bed, bath, and breakfast were really well worth the money. Staff was always very helpful and friendly. Definitely will stay again. I can recommend the Italian place next door as well. Married to a half Sicilian woman it had to be. She was pleased. I highly recommend this place.
We change to this hotel after a night at another hotel and we did not regret it! Olga and her colleagues in the reception made our stay so enjoyable. Rooms super clean, soft beds. Breakfast - all you could ask for. At the end of our stay our daughter turned ill and had to visit a doctor, they arranged with the contacts, found a room for the day despite that the hotel was almost fully booked and supported us all the way until we where cleared to go home. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family.
We spent three nights in Prague in the Hotel Leon D'oro with our children. We enjoyed a lot the city and the hotel itself. Everything was perfect: the welcome very warm, the staff always very kind and available, the rooms are very comfortable and always clean, the breakfast has a big variety and everyday different. The location of the hotel is perfect to visit most of the attractions of the old town on foot; you can reach many Cafe or restaurants also on foot. We will come back for sure.
We stayed in Hotel Leon D'Oro. What a great choice. This 4 star hotel is in a fantastic location just a short walk from the Old Town Square and a within 10 minutes walk to the river and Lesser Town or to the New Town. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed, including a sewing kit. There was a good selection of buffet food for breakfast. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful, giving us directions and helping us with bookings. It would be even better with a double bed rather than 2 singles and some decent pillows.
Great hotel; great location. The room was huge, clean and well appointed. The breakfast was a buffet and had a huge selection. The staff was polite and very professional. The location is great only a 5 minute walk to the Old Town center and 10 minutes to Charles Bridge. Lots of restaurant selections nearby. It has parking, which is amazing for the city, but be warned…the parking garage and the spaces are small so don’t bring your typical American SUVs.
