The building is gorgeous. Rooms are nice, well equipped, beautifully decorated. Moreover this place has the cool touch of certain places in growing cities. However I cannot give 5/5 because they do not accept payment by card, there is no shower cap in the room and I had issues with hot water. Very please t experience, just not perfect.

Great rooms, comfy beds, a nice bar and extremely friendly and helpful staff. A massive thank you to Gabi and Marcelo who were super helpful with both sorting a room and helping me find the best site to book a train to Budapest! An all round great experience.

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. I actually recommended it to a friend who ended up telling me it was better than some hotels he has stayed in. Very clean, meet awesome people, and amazing location! If you go, around the corner go to Cafe Liberica, and try their eggs benedict.

Great buffet breakfast, great help, Veronica was awesome. Tiny rooms (in the hostel part) but nice. Wifi wasn't too bad it kinda worked in my room. But I wasn't there to be on the internet. Overall great for price! They have penthouses, hotel rooms and the hostel section all in the same building and very convenient to get other places.

We stayed in the penthouse west. Amazing suite. Bed so comfortable. Outside terrace with amazing views & sunset. House keeping brilliant everyday. Staff very friendly. Can not do enough for you only have to ask. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was our anniversary & staying here made it very special. Thank you to all the staff for a... More

I spent three nights in this hostel in the 10 bedroom dorm and can say that it was probably the nicest and cleanest hostel I have stayed in during all my different trips and travels. The staff were super friendly and the location is amazing, about a 15 minute walk from all the main tourist attractions along the river. The... More

The Mosaic made Prague feel like home and inspired us to return. At the front desk Marcelo was FANTASTIC! With maps and suggestions, arranging laundry service and restaurants and walking routes. He made sure we knew what was going on in the common areas, which are clean and friendly and a great place to trade advice with fellow travelers with... More

Nice location. Room was clean and it was nice to have individual bathrooms in each hostel room even if it did create a small queue in the mornings. There is a good atmosphere, which on arriving I was excited to join, however the evening I spent in the hostel the entertainment was ticketed at 350kn entry taking up the whole... More

Dear Stephanie, First of all, thank you very much for taking your time and sharing your impression of your stay. I'm glad that our staff made you feel welcome. But please, let me apologize on behalf of our team for not being able to take part of our bar area at all times. We did have a concert of Icelandic... More

Amazing place and great location. What really sets this place above the rest are the friendly and helpful staff. We were left on a lurch because of a glitch with the wotif/expedia network. One of the mosaic staff, Marcelo, went out of his way to rectify the problem and ensure we were looked after. Super helpful and professional.

We spent 2 nights in Mosaic. Strongly recommended for backpackers and also for mid-age adventurer guys as we are. All was great, the service, the place, the location...To the top of it, when we were looking for U Fleků to go in Google Maps, it was a surprise that is't only 100m from the hostel :D ...returning soon!

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
