The hotel is a half block from the Charles Bridge. There was some construction in the building in front which made for noisy mornings. The bar downstairs could be heard from the room if you left your window open. I wasn't disturbed by it but it needs to be a fair review. The breakfast was decent. The staff was hit... More

In the heart of the old city, with quiet rooms, for a reasonable price, with a wonderful staff, like Petra at the front desk, and an excellent breakfast. I would definitely stay there in the future.

We stayed in the attic of Hotel Pinot. We are a family of 6- four kids ages 12, 10, 6, and 5 and had plenty of room in the attic. The separate bedroom was perfect for husband and I to have some privacy while all 4 kids slept in the other large room. There was a small refrigerator in the... More

The location of this hotel is excellent - just by the Mala Strana end of the Charles Bridge so ideal for walking to all the major sites of interest. We went with a group of two other couples using three double rooms - one of the rooms had a bath, the other two had showers - one of which had... More

The hotel is really nice! We liked the friendly room, the spacious bathroom, the tea making facilities, the friendly staff and the breakfast. The location is perfect!!!! The only thing that was a problem for us, was sleeping! You could hear everything from the neighbouring rooms, the TV, the voices and especially the fan of the bathroom and the toilet... More

The Pinot Hotel is pefectly located in a small lane of Pragues Old Town (Kleinseite). Very charming is the one room-wine pub of the hotel with a selection of regional wines. In the evening it can get quite lively here. Members of the staff are engaged and this creates a familiar atmosphere in the hotel. Recommendation: Get yourself a voucher... More

Stay here for a perfect location for touring Prague; less tourist but still lots to see nearby in this "Mala Strana" neighborhood just a short walk from the foot of the Charles Bridge. Rooms which face the street can be noisy with early morning truck deliveries. Breakfasts were delicious with optional additional items for cost. The theme of the hotel... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
