I stayed for 3 nights in this hostel and it was lovely. The room is simple but the location is in the heart of the old town and just few steps to the famous Astronomy clock, 10 minutes walk to Charles bridge and close to the metro station. The hostel has a kitchen so you can cook your own meals but Prague is cheap compared to another part of Europe that I visited.
We booked a few beds for NYE and the days surrounding. So the price while expensive was understandable. The location was brilliant. Can not fault it. Going hand in hand with location, it means everything was loud. But the hostel itself wasn’t - just the noise from the people, fireworks and horses. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and nice. Our bunk bed squeaked so much my friend and I ended up putting our beds on the floor for 2 out of 3 nights. The squeaking wasn’t normal hotel bed, it was constant and any movement or even cough. However our other friends bunk was fine, so must have gotten the unlucky one. So I don’t blame the hostel but knowing what I do now, I wouldn’t book here again.
The hostel is very modest. I had my own room but shared the bathroom. It is located right at the heart of oldtown, and also a kebab place which sell halal cuisine. It is close to Cafe Abel with good coffee also IPasteria selling beat carrot cake ever. It is also close to a souvenir shop Darky Gifts with very real Czech materials. I definitely will stay here again if I go to Prague. A bit bad night because somebody bang on my room, apparently the guest was a bit drunk, and he was mistakenly knocked at wrong room.
Room is nice and clean. Shared bathroom ok. Wifi ok. You are a minute away from Old Town Square and Prague Astronomical Clock. 10 minutes walk to Charles Bridge. The staffs are friendly and helpful. This hostel have a lift so no need to worry about carrying your luggages. Worth the stay if you are in a budget.
