I was in a 4 bed female dorm. The main issue was lack of ventilation, especially on a 37 degree day 🥵 But reception gave us a fan when we asked which was helpful. Lockers for each person plus a couch and a desk with a mirror and some chairs so plenty of room inside the room. Mixed sex bathrooms with doors and locks on each shower cubicle. The kitchen was fine, microwave, cooktop, big fridge, kettle.. The best thing was the location. Jewish cemetery 100m one way, and you can see Tyn Church from street level out the front. Yet no outside house from the rooms at all. Would absolutely stay again. Everyone I saw was young, but took their parties elsewhere

Stayed here for 3 nights, location was perfect both for walking around the old town and accessing the metro from Staromestska. Hostel receptionist was so kind and helpful, even made sure I was OK flying home from the airport! Beds were ok, toilets and showers were a bit cramped, common area was modest. The bedside cupboards for luggage were not lockable. The main problem was that the hostel locks up out of reception's opening hours, which caused me a few problems because my key was difficult to use. A keycard system would have been a lot easier.

The location is by far the selling point! It is bang on the middle of Prague, perfect for the base to explore. Easy to find, and friendly staff. Having stayed for a Stag do, the shared dorms were fine. All other travellers were friendly.
A few downsides for the hostel to work on and improve, were the showers and toilet facility's, very dated. And curtains, there were basically none. However this wouldn't put me off from staying again if needed, but would be in their best interest to upgrade.

We started off really enjoying this hostel, decent, clean facilities and very affordable. The only problem was that there were no lockers or safe place to keep your valuables. We opted to leave our cameras, iPods and passports with the front desk. It was to close overnight but opened up again in the morning. We woke up the next day and went downstairs to pick up our valuables and the reception was locked. We checked the hours and they were due to open in half an hour. We ended having to phone multiple times, and plead for the receptionist to hurry up. He finally arrived and looked just how he sounded on the phone, like we had woken him up. It was terribly inconvenient as we had wasted 2 hours of our day waiting for him. We made it clear that the next morning when we were to check out (also during "open" office hours") that someone should be there to take our key and if they weren't then we would leave out on the ground. Sure enough, the next day - we waited 20 minutes past opening time (any longer and we would miss our train) and no one showed up. Terrible service. Would not stay again.

The hostel is very modest. I had my own room but shared the bathroom. It is located right at the heart of oldtown, and also a kebab place which sell halal cuisine. It is close to Cafe Abel with good coffee also IPasteria selling beat carrot cake ever. It is also close to a souvenir shop Darky Gifts with very real Czech materials. I definitely will stay here again if I go to Prague.

A bit bad night because somebody bang on my room, apparently the guest was a bit drunk, and he was mistakenly knocked at wrong room.

The hostel itself is located in the great spot very close to major attraction places, not that far from the metro station. Staff are nice and welcome the room is clean, about 10 mins walk to the great bridge.

The hostel is located right next to old town square which was fantastic. We visited early January 2018 so the Christmas markets were still in the square. We had a private double room which had simple furnishings but was very spacious! Only issue with the room was that we would have liked to have a safe because the hostel is located in an apartment block and other guests tended to leave the hostel doors open. There was only two shared showers and toilets on our floor which were all dated but on the floor with the kitchen there were several toilets and showers which seemed more modern. Further, the showers and toilets were dirty our entire stay.

We found the front desk staff to be quite unfriendly and brash which has affected the overall rating. Note, they only accept cash no cards.

Overall, great location and room but would not stay here again.

The hostel is very well located (3 min walk to Old Town Square). The price was very good. Room and bathrooms were clean. It includes bed linen, towel and wifi. If you require a padlock, the borrow you one for free. Lockers are just for a normal bag (35-45 L). Totally recommended. It is my second time in this hostel.

Literally within site of the central square. This was helpful finding our way back at night and gave us a good bearing of the city. We had a very cheap rate so I really can't complain about too much. Don't buy the 3 euro breakfast - it consisted of bread, cheese, and sliced meat. It would be cheaper to just run to a market. There was really no atmosphere in the hostel as it is separated into multiple floors in a business building, but we already had our plans on where to go so we were barely in the hostel.

We stayed in this hostel mainly for its location. It's just one minute walking to the old town square! I believe price is the cheapest among hotels in the vicinity. Unfortunately you can only pay with cash, so be prepared. The shower and bathroom are pretty clean although the facility is mixed men and women. I am not used to this so it was a little awkward for me but during my stay I did not have to bump in with guys in the shower area. The floor is wooden so you can hear your neighbors walk.
The only downside is that there is not always somebody in the reception office; so when you arrive, you may have to wait a long time for somebody to open the door. This hostel also lacks of staff. We had to move room and when I was shown to our new room, it was not ready yet and we had to make the bed ourselves. But with this price, i really cannot complain. It is pretty good for the value.

The hostel is in the city center (more is almost impossible). You have plenty of bars and discos really close!

Dear Fede C, Thank you for your inquiry. Our reception is really opened only from 9:00 to 20:00, however later arrivals are not problem at all. We are always leaving the keys in a fast food (pizza/gyros place) located next to our hostel and our guests can pick it up there. Best regards, Lukáš Tejnor Hostel Franz Kafka
