The first big minus was the exchange rate and procedure they work. As booking price was 146€ they charge on local coin 3900 something like that was over 152€!! Telling on the begging i want to pay in euro as is written 146€ they refuse. Breakfast, awful!! You can’t add bread, croissants from day before mix with fresh one in same day!! That’s wrong!! Better don’t put it! Same with all rest cheese slices, ham etc. Cleaning room, never went in a hotel and asking for cleaning room and they replace towels only!!! Really, bed sheets, pillows they not even bother!! The only positive is that’s close to center!!
I just wanted to make special mention to Jana at the reception who went above and beyond to help during my stay at Red and Blue. It really made all the difference, a friendly face, patient and clearly excellent and her job. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Until next time.
I stayed here with a bunch of friends over the Summer. The hotel is well decorated and very clean. It is in a great location and easy within walking distance to most attractions. However should you wish to jump a taxi, Uber is a cheap and easy alternative. We only stayed bed and breakfast, which sadly we did not enjoy so decided to venture out for breakfast most mornings. However if you're travelling with friends/family or as a couple then I would definitely recommend the hotel.
We stayed at this hotel 11th March til 14th March amid the Coronavirus outbreak. The reception staff were flawless and nothing was too big a problem for them. We booked via Secret Escapes and got an Executive Room which was perfect!! Spacious, clean and two sinks. We also got a complimentary bottle of wine! Lifts are accessible and the bar is relaxing. It may not be as close to the centre as other hotels but for the cost of £2.00 an Uber ride to pretty much any part of Prague from the hotel it is not worth quabbling over. We enjoyed walking to Charles Bridge which only took us 10-12 minutes and you pass a lovely ice cream spot on the way. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. It is fantastic value for money and the staff are flawless. Thank you
Was slightly disappointed with this booking, we booked an executive suite in red and blue design hotel with none stop happy hour at the bar, when we arrived we were sent up the road to the chevron hotel which is part of it, but we had to return to the red and blue hotel for breakfast, it was strange because we didn’t have an executive room by any means and the none stop happy hour was never mentioned to us. The hotel itself is a 15 -20 min walk from centre, there will be places that you can stay which are more central there isn’t anything really around this hotel. Breakfast was nice, was disappointed with the room we got, even though we had booked an executive suite with a double bed it was just two twin beds pushed together when we complained about this after our 1st night we were advised that all the rooms within the hotel were the same and there were no double beds. But disappointing but hotel was ok all in all and staff were friendly…
