Great hotel! Superb location and the room was lovely, clean and comfortable! Staff were warm and friendly perfect for a city break! We were booked for bed and breakfast, the breakfast was a little ropey at best! Not a great choice, certainly wouldn't be paying extra at the hotel for it.
We absolutely loved this hotel. I’d asked for a quiet room on a high floor and we were given a room on the top floor. The room faced the hill and parkland opposite which we could just see through the velux window. Although we were on the front, there was no noise from the street or adjoining rooms. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and tastefully designed. Breakfast on the lower floor with huge windows overlooking a small courtyard was a treat with a huge choice of foods. As we’re over 65, we were able to use public transport just by showing our passports, so we made full use of the wonderfully frequent trams. We also ate at the Smíchovské Vidličky a nože restaurant less than 5 minutes from the hotel, which serves great Czech food at a much lower price, than the city centre restaurant,as well as having really friendly staff. Really recommend this hotel.…
Me and my husband stayed here for 4 nights and were extremely happy with our stay. The location was perfect, a short 10 minute walk to Charles Bridge. We had beautiful park views and slept with our windows open, it was so quiet with no noise from passers by. The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. Lots of food options at breakfast and polite, helpful staff. Definitely recommend.
Just returned from a 4 day stay with another couple in this beautiful modern hotel. Just 10 minutes away from the Charles 1st bridge and other main attractions. We stayed in room 204 and 205, both very spacious,in one room there was a settee and the other a chair to relax. Good size shower, bed very comfy. Breakfast was more than enough, mixture of hot and cold food, drinks machine for hot drinks has well has three different juices. Bar at reception does Happy hour 4-6pm, but a pint of lager was only €3 the rest of the time. Great hotel, would definitely return. Transfers provided at hotel also,
This hotel is a lovely place ! Its not to far out ... Its a 20 min walk from the center but just down the hill you can get on the trams, number 9 are 20 ☺️👍 Hotel reception -really friendly staff very clean. Check in is 3pm and check out is 11 but you can exstender it till 1 for a charge. Bedroom - clean and tidy our room had a little bust and tv didnt work 🙈 but this wasnt a big problem for us as we wasnt in the room alot, The rooms can be cleaned dayly if you wish. Breakfast - there is alsorts of stuff. Maybe some stuff was a little weird for me but everyone was catered for. If i had to pick at one think the milk is full fat milk or soy milk. I did think about going getting a red or green milk from the local Tesco ... I didnt i just drank my coffee black ( i cant drink full fat milk before anyone asks why thats a problem) I would highly recommend this hotel !…
We travelled from the UK to Prague and stayed here for a Friday - Monday long weekend. We had a fantastic time and when we return again in the future we would definitely choose to stay here again. We arrived at 9.30am as we had an early flight. We were told on check in that our room would not be ready until 3pm but the hotel were accommodating and stored our luggage safely away so we could still go out and enjoy the day. Similarly, on our last day we had to check out by 11am but our flight home was not until 8.30pm. Our luggage was stored safely again so we still got to explore right up until our taxi to the airport without carrying luggage round. The hotel was situated about 20/30 minutes on foot from the main square and old town. We didn’t mind this as the sights you could see on the walk there made it worth it. It was also nice to be away from the busy areas in the centre. The room was very comfortable and warm. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was a good size and the room was clean. Our towels were changed daily by the maids. There was no issues throughout our stay, no noise issues etc. We opted for room only when booking so didn’t take the offer of breakfast up but this is available as an extra for roughly £10 per person per day if you did want to add it on, on arrival. There is a tourism tax payable, I believe we paid £15 for the two of us for three nights. This is charged on check in. WiFi is free and works well. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs a quiet and comfortable place to stay for a good nights sleep after exploring Prague.…
We can honestly say this hotel is amazing to stay. From arriving the reception staff (especially David) were so helpful. From requesting a room with a bath due to having a severe back injury from helping with downloading transport apps there is nothing the reception staff won’t do. The hotel is immaculate which is down to the housekeeping staff and the most important thing is getting a good nights sleep after walking on the cobbles the whole day. Comfiest beds ever and we stayed in room 207 which is on the main road and due to the noise proof rooms never heard a single thing from the traffic. You must book breakfast. The choice and freshness of the food is great. Thank you to the 2 lovely ladies who we saw each morning. We cannot thank you enough and will be highly recommending any family or friends who visit Prague to stay here. Thank you all so much. Lynne & James xx…
The hotel itself was good. However despite the fact that the hotel has a covid 19 protocol, this was not followed by many of the guests and not not enforced by the hotel. In particular, at breakfast many of the guests came in either wearing no mask at all (there is a notice on the door to the Breakfast Room saying masks must be worn on entry), or came in wearing a mask and then immediately took it off. So there were guests walking round the breakfast room, getting their food from the buffet with no masks on in very close proximity to other guests . This was brought to the attention of the member of staff on reception the first day. To our surprise, she was extremely rude, saying it wasn't her fault, what was she supposed to do, she tells guests when they check in to the hotel to wear masks and how are guests supposed to eat with their masks on! She was clearly not listening and insulted my intelligence to think I was expecting guests to wear their masks while eating! The issue (and rudeness of the previous member of staff) was again brought to the attention of another member of staff on Reception, who at first didn't seem to understand the issue regarding mask wearing, but then said he would speak to the staff in the Breakfast Room to tell guests to wear a mask and that he would also speak to the Manager. After being hopeful that this would result in the hotel staff enforcing this covid protocol, we were sadly disappointed. It made no difference, with guests still entering/using the Breakfast Room with no mask and the member of staff in there asking them for their room number but NOT telling them they have to wear a mask. Pointless really wearing a mask around the hotel when it's not adhered to by all guests/enforced by the hotel staff! When we visited bars/restaurants in Prague, we were asked to show our covid passes and had to wear a mask whenever we were not sat down. This very important protocol is one that our hotel either doesn't seem to understand or is just not enforcing, despite it being brought to the attention of the management. A GREAT SHAME, AS IT IS A LOVELY HOTEL, BUT NOT ONE IN WHICH YOU FEEL SAFE, WITH A LACK OF ADHERENCE TO/ENFORCEMENT OF COVID PROTOCOL.…
If you are planning a short holiday to Prague and you need a place to stay that doesn't rip you off, is nice, cozy and close to the main attractions of the city, this is the place for you :) The staff is always available and speaks English perfectly (pretty sure they speak some other foreign languages as well), the breakfast is tasty and the rooms are fine! Super recommended
Nice hotel near to the centre and direct night bus from airport, 2 minutes from bus and train stop. Rooms and bathroom are big and very comfortly, beds are absolutely amazing. Staff is also very helpful. I hope i come back very soon, because price and comfort was very good.
