Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

We stayed at Urban Creme Sept 5-11. It is a great location. Pros: a few minutes from Florenc StationT - Tourist attractions - Palladium Mall (which isn't that big a deal -not any great stores, just your typical mid-range stores but a great book store and large grocery store ). - Across from the hotel is a lot of local bakeries. -Surrounded by all the North American franchises (Mcdonalds, on your way to Florenc, KFC & Starbucks on your way to Tourist Attractions The hotel itself is really nice. It is well constructed (no sloppy construction like a lot of places). Has a large bathroom that is very clean (would have liked a few more shelves or hooks & our towel warmer wasn't working. Not a 5 star hotel but a solid 4 - 4 1/2 star. Tons of closet space. Loved the modern & clean look. I would stay there again.

We did what I suppose everyone does before planning trips to new destinations. We carefully scanned the Prague hotel market. The choice fell on Urban Creme, a modern and new hotel with a nice location and walking distance to most of the city has to offer. The room we chose was fine with very good beds and linens, great TV and internet. connection: Separate toilet and shower where the latter had a massage head. Coffee and tea can be made in the room. All in all the room was very clean and nice and quiet from the street traffic. Grocery stores in the immediate vicinity if you want to buy snacks, soft drinks and fruit. Our conclusion is; Pleasant and attentive service from all staff, No doubt we can recommend this place both for you as a tourist or on business trip 👍

Firstly, the location is good. Close to the old town and good restaurants. With that said, here comes the other side of a hotel that for some reason has gotten a 5 star rating when it really shouldn't be more than a 3,5 - 4 stars rating (I've been to quite a few 4- and 5-star hotels) The reception staff was good, but the room and breakfast restaurant was nowhere close to having a 5 Star feel. The room: Nice colors gave it a nice first feel, but as we started using the room we found that it was dirty and dusty in all the corners. We stayed for two nights and when we came back to the hotel after the first day the beds had been made but the bins hadn't been emptied and there was no toilet paper or soaps left in the room. After a call to the reception this was taken care off (but the room was still dirty.) The breakfast: Very basic and not very appealing to us. The bread and cakes were dry and the selection wasn't very big. All in all: Prague is definately worth a visit and this hotel would be too if it lived up to the rating.

Dear HrMoller, thank you for your time to share you feedback despite not being very good to us. We strive to provide the best service possible, but it seems we failed in your case. This is not our standard level of service and I can assure you that should you give us another chance we will deliver the top service you deserve. Kind regards from Prague Lukáš Melichar

The hotel was about 10-15 mins walk from the Old Town Square, and the area is relatively safe and quiet. There are tram stops about 5 mins away, and there is a metro station about 6 mins walk. The staff were all very helpful and patient - they checked us in early (about 1 hour earlier than their check-in time) and also booked a taxi for us on our last day for the airport. The hotel was very modern and the lifts were fast. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the hotel was not very noisy - well at least we did not hear our neighbours or the lift (as our room was directly opposite them). The only minor niggle would be that towels that were replaced were not consistent, and also the face cloths were never replaced. But this was very minor and overall we really enjoyed our stay.
