We stayed here for 4 nights, arriving after 10pm. I was worried that A) we would end up with the runt of the leftover rooms at that time of the night and B) reception may be fed up by this time. However, I was wrong. Check in was easy and the guy was friendly. It was welcomed after a few hours travelling.
The Hotel is easy to find and in a good location for explorers (we easily walked to Zizkov tower, both Prague's major football stadiums, the old town, Cathedral etc). There are super markets nearby and the train station is only a 10 minute walk. Plenty public transport but I strongly urge you to explore this city by foot!
Anyway, our room was on the 7th floor and we were greeted by a bottle of wine and confectionary as the Hotel were aware we were celebrating during our trip. We had a balcony away from the main road which was really nice. A lot of reviews seem to complain about the room size but it is more the layout that catches people out. Our room was split so when you enter you have clothes storage, fridge, sink on the right and on the left 2 doors concealing the shower and toilet. Around the corner was a large bed (and large wall mounted tv). The sleeping area was like a "den"/"snug" and had such a lovely cosy feeling. There was a safe, hairdryer, tea and coffee, plenty storage and hangers and behind the blackout curtains were floor to ceiling windows.... Very nice.
There is a fitness suite in the hotel but we didnt use it.
We had breakfast daily which consisted of three hot items (2 types of eggs and either bacon or sausages on rotation). Plenty pastries and cheese, salad, cereals etc. The breakfast is served in an area that also doubles as a restaurant in the evening.
Check out was easy, our room was cleaned daily and although the lighting showed dust in places I can honestly say overall the housekeeping was great (we left a thank you note).
We will definitely consider staying again!

Above all we liked the value for money. Bed and breakfast was a great deal. The breakfast was a buffet and there was a decent choice.
The location was fine. We walked everywhere on our short break.
The aircon was efficient. We arrived to an oven and it brought the temperature down quite quickly.
There were loads of power points. You could have an electrical feast!
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was compact without a seating area. The shower and wc were separate and the washbasin was in the main room which I didn't like much. The shower had one of those big heads which rain on you which I did like, although it didn't drain terribly fast and I thought I might flood the room. The bed was not the comfiest I have come across but it was OK. There were light switches and a reading light by the bed which was handy for reading before going to sleep. The restaurant is actually separate from the hotel and so you cannot charge drinks to the room.

Dear AJ, First of all, we would like to thank you for your feedback about your recent stay at Urban Creme Hotel. We are delighted that you selected our hotel and that you were satisfied with many aspects of it. As electricity is very important these days, it is nice to read that you appreciated number of power plugs all over the hotel. We are also pleased that our staff was friendly and that you were satisfied with their helpfulness. As for the bathroom, we wish to have left a better impression. Some of our rooms are equipped with separate shower and toilet, while in other rooms all can be in one bathroom. Were our reception informed, we would have immediately done our best to provide you a room with a closed bathroom to provide more comfort during your stay. Overall, our entire team is thrilled that you enjoyed your stay and we would be more than happy to welcome you back at Urban Creme! Best Regards, Nikola Filipová Front Office Manager

We had a very comfortable 5 nights at Urban Creme. The location is close to the metro and a short walking distance to the Powder Tower. Breakfast was lovely. It became very crowded around 9am, so we made sure to either go early or wait till the rush was over. We corresponded over email before our arrival with Nela and Olga at the front desk to arrange dinner reservations, airport service and they always responded quickly and were very helpful. During our stay, the outside temperatures were -5, but inside the room was nice and warm.

Miserable staff on the front desk who didn't make you feel welcome. The design and colour scheme of the rooms is very cool but the shower was a bit grimy. In particular the grout on the walls and floors ! Just a wipe with a damp tissue brought some of it off. TV lacked English speaking channels. Would have been nice to log into Netflix or YouTube.
No breakfast either on our visit

Dear Lmac03 I am glad to read that you enjoyed the design and colour scheme of our rooms. I am sorry to read that you were not satisfied with the staff and with the shower. I would like to assure you that this is definitely not our standard. I have spoken to all staff involved about your complaint and made sure that this will not reoccur. Breakfast is standardly served in our AMANO restaurant in the hotel. If you do not book a room with breakfast you can add it any time at the front desk. Our TVs are large modern Samsung hotel TVs. We offer free satelite channels and you can also mirror your smart phone with the TV at any time and watch youtube or netflix on the screen using our free highspeed wifi in the building. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience. We hope to see you in Prague soon again. Kind regards Ondrej Urban Creme Hotel

Spent a weekend and Prague and decided to stay at Urban Creme. The customer care was incredible, especially Tereza at the front desk. The staff was always willing to go over and beyond to help me out. They told me where to get the best Czech food and gave me great suggestions on what sights to see. The location is great and within easy walking distances to Charles Bridge and the rest of the big attractions! The car lift was pretty great too. You can set park and not have to worry about your car which was a huge plus!

Stayed here with my boyfriend for 3 nights last week. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, also very helpful as they gave us recommendations of where to go and see! The service from staff was great. The room itself was pretty bog standard, with a strange design. For example the sink was in the bedroom area rather than in a bathroom with the toilet and shower. The toilet had its own room and shower had its own room. Nonetheless, the room was clean and was fine for us. For a 5 star hotel I would perhaps expect some more space and storage in the room.
The walls in the room were quite thin and we were disrupted sometimes by neighbours talking and walking through the corridors. Again, wouldn’t expect this with a 5 star hotel.
The location was great, walking distance to the main bars and restaurants, as well as the sights.
We got a good deal on our stay, therefore we were overall quitehappy with what we got for the price.

The hotel is in a convenient location close to city center, we booked last minute because there were almost no options left.
On booking.com, this hotel has 5* - which i found to not match the criteria for it.
Let me start by saying that we were lucky enough to get a room on the top floor as we requested, and we were surprised by the spacious rooftop we had, that included a sitting area. Not much views though. A lot of cigarette butts there, I would recommend to put ashtrays there.
Problem with top floor was that when we woke up in the morning, the temperature in the room was 34 degrees! I almost felt cooked alive. A recommendation to receptionists, to tell guest during hot days, to keep AC running troughout the night as well to avoid this.
On top of that, in the morning there was problem with water, we couldn’t brush our teeth or shower because the taps stopped working. It took us one hour of wait for them to repair it, but when we flushed the toilet, it was all yellow water - rust maybe?
There was mould in minibar.
Room was clean overally, but the carpet was stained a lot.
A little too many inconvenient things happening during our one night stay in 5* hotel.
Most of the staff seemed nice.
Acceptable for the value, but better options if you plan ahead.

Dear Erik, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay at our hotel. We truly appreciate your input as it helps us to continuously improve our services. We're pleased to hear that you found our hotel's location convenient, especially since you booked last minute when options were limited. We're also glad you enjoyed the spacious rooftop on the top floor, although we apologize for the presence of cigarette butts. We deeply regret the issues you encountered with the water supply and the discolored water in the toilet. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we will investigate this matter thoroughly to prevent it from happening again in the future. We appreciate your kind words about our staff, and we are delighted to hear that most of them left a positive impression on you. Once again, we apologize for any inconveniences you experienced during your stay. We appreciate your honest feedback and hope that you will consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with a more seamless and enjoyable stay in the future. If you do plan to visit again, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly, and we will do our best to ensure your next stay is exceptional. With Best Regards, Silvia Vavrová Front Office Manager

Hotel room : very clean and hot. Nice ideea with the rooms how they are split. Big bed and comfortable. A lot of accessories for the guest : tea, coffee, bathrobes and slippers, hair dryer, nail set and comb and also sewing set and water heater ,refrigerator. Good organized and modern. Good idee if the guest want to give some more improvements you can write on the notice page.
Rezeption: here you lose one big point because the front office are nice but... they need more instruction because the front office reprezent the hotel. They was a little bit confused about how is working with the parkplace and with key.
Restaurant: breakfast was clean and a lot of variously food. Some music will help to dont listen only the plates and how the ppl are eating.
It would be good for the staff to wear a certain outfit to differentiate themselves from customers.
The hotel was not far away for the old central. I recomand for sure.

Urban Creme was the best hotel choice to choose where to stay for the value. A helpful hotel worker will spot name Adam, helped with a lot of things to be sorted for the stay. He went the extra mile, to leave us satisfied with our stay. I can strongly recommend staying in a hotel. The TV, Bed, and space in the Delux room were fantastic, clean, and quiet.
They decorated our room. Love it.
Public connection near the hotel can take you all around Prague, 40min to the airport for cost 3.5euro!
Restaurants and markets are around the hotel.
We really enjoyed our wedding stay!
Will return there if possible asap.

Really good central location within walking distance to all the main attractions. Lobby was small but never too busy.
We booked two deluxe rooms and asked for them to be near each other. Unfortunately, that meant one was clearly not a deluxe room being smaller and no nespresso machine but the hotel didn’t warn us of that. We didn’t say anything either as we could just use the Nespresso machine in one room and take it to the other room. Both rooms were clean, stocked with white company toiletries with working ac and tv; and that was the main thing for us.
Breakfast was ok, one day they had bacon but they had run out when we got there at 9am and it was never replenished even by the time we left at 1015am. The Apple juice had clearly been watered down too on the fabled missing bacon day. All other days were ok.
