Alfons Boutique Hotel is family owned hotel situated in the centre of Prague, 500 meters from the Wenceslas Sq. The house was built at the end of the 19th century in a classicist style with a number of decorative elements both in the interior and on the facade. Rooms and suites are inspired by Art Deco and Art Nouveau accomplished by all modern ammenities available as standard in all luxurious hotels these days. Our rooms offer comfort even to the most demanding guests. Each guest values good sleep on a quality mattress with a choice of pillows, modern, fully equipped bathroom, romantic lights, selection of drinks and snacks in the minibar, coffeemaker, Smart TV, free Wi-Fi connection and great location of this place.

This was a lovely little hotel near Wenceslas square but also very convenient for the tram and metro. Room comfortable and quite quiet even though on a busy road. Breakfast was good, with lots of choice. Checkin was tricky as we arrived late but we did manage to get in after our plane delayed.

Charming little hotel with good location and public transports. Interior was nice and suited the building. Lovely little garden in the backyard. Friendly and helpful staff, especially the front desk lady. She had a conversation with everyone and was genuine and fun. My husband got sick and we were given extra hour for checkout and a choice to bring breakfast in the room. Breakfast had variety, not a large buffet but enough still. Breakfast was tasty and the room was not crowded, even though we went different times some days. Air conditioner was a lifesaver during those sunny days. Very easy to use and it only took minutes to cool. Fridge was bigger than expected and got our own drinks and beverages there. Tv’s Netflix didn’t work all the time, chrome cast would be better. All in all, our trip here was pleasant and would recommend this hotel to others. I think it was good vibes all around, even other residents were nice.…

I think this hotel may be going downhill. It is inconvenient to tourist sites, the cleaning service was subpar, and they have charges that they don't inform guests about and then add into their bill. I thought the Hotel Alfons was so-so and not worth the long walk. It is no longer a particular bargain either.

Dear Mrs. Stephanie Stern, we are very sorry that you evaluate the hotel with negative review from the point of view of your own mistakes. We can’t be responsible that you thought that you reserved the room for 1 night more than the real reservation was made. The day you had to checkout till 11:00 you were in the city and you haven’t checked out from your room. Because you occupied the room one more day we were forced to relocate our guests that were arriving at 14:00 to another hotel. You caused to our hotel financial loss and damage to the reputation of the guest who should have stayed in the room after you and the little fee for late checkout you paid was only the standard hotel fee and was significantly lower than hotel loss for the relocation. We arrived Friday and was my first time in Prague, I was blown away by the entrance to the hotel, the front lady was fantastic and made us feel most welcome, the room was stunning with the most comfortable bed and pillow , I slept so well! The staff was very helpful and responded to messages and emails immediately. Clean and close to lots of things. Room was spacious as far as European/big city hotels go. Great water pressure. Staff spoke English very well.

A beautiful, classical, wonderful little hotel. Kind of get a 5 star vibe and feel. Really suits the stunning City of Prague. Good location (few minutes walk busy tram line station that goes right to Old Town Square and Charles Bridge). Aside from the excellent value for money, one thing that stood out for me and went a long way was the friendly demeanour of the receptionist that greeted me. Her name was Marcella (English pronunciation), so friendly and cheerful. It was lovely to get a warm welcome after a horrible experience in my previous city and hotel. I highly recommend this place. Even has a little private seating/smoking area in a beautiful little garden with gentle music playing out of the speaker. Loved it.

Comfortable rooms in the city center of Prague. Great location, breakfast and very nice staff. The hotel is also baby friendly, baby cot in the room and baby chair for a breakfast wasn't problem. I highly recommend it to everyone!
