The Botanique Hotel Prague garners praise for its excellent service, with staff members who are professional and eager to assist, although rare instances of rudeness have been mentioned. The hotel's cleanliness and eco-friendly practices are a hit among guests, as are the modern and comfortable rooms, despite some concerns over temperature and noise insulation.
Its central location is celebrated for convenience to public transport and local attractions. While some guests missed in-room drinking water and a happy hour, the overall value and tranquil atmosphere have been highly rated.

Hotel's Favorite
This was our first visit to both the hotel and Prague itself, and neither disappointed.
On arrival into Prague, we took Bus 119, which leaves from outside the Arrivals terminal. It will take you to the Nádraží Veleslavín metro station on line A. The metro will get you to the City Centre in approx. 20 mins (8 stops I believe to Florenc station, where you need to alight), and you can use the same ticket.
The Botanique is situated literally across the road as you come up from the Florenc metro station. You can't miss it. 🙂
On arrival, even though it was only a shade after 11am and Check In is mid-afternoon, Jan on reception was incredibly friendly, helpful and told us we'd be able to get into our room in approximately 30 minutes. He checked us in and then gave us a voucher for two free drinks in the hotel bar, while we waited. Possibly the earliest beer I've had in my life, but it hit the spot after having already been up 8 hrs. 🙂
We were then given our room keys and unpacked. We upgraded to a Premium room, and it is well worth the extra, as we had a great view from our balcony on the 8th floor. The hotel team had also left a little surprise for us in the room, as they knew it was a special anniversary for us, while we were in Prague, which was another nice touch by them, which we greatly appreciated.
The room was very spacious, everything felt brand new, and the bathroom was excellent, with a great and sensible layout. The hotel communal areas are also excellent, and the bar area is a really nice space. Lit well, and free flowing through into the dining area, so there's a real feeling of space there.
Breakfast was also good, with plenty of choice, including all the elements that make up a full English, for those that want that. There was also a large selection of breads, cakes, fruit and other hot dishes, including a pancake maker.
For those that want to make themselves a cup of tea in the morning before going down to breakfast, there's a Billa Supermarket right across the road, and an Albert one 100 yards down the road to your left, so you can pick up milk and anything else you want from either.
I'll not dwell on every detail of our stay but suffice to say, we loved Prague and will definitely be returning in a warmer month in 2024 and there is only one place we'd be looking forward to returning to stay in. From the start to the end of our stay, everyone we dealt with on the front desk, bar, breakfast and in housekeeping were super helpful, friendly and efficient. Everybody has a great smile on at all times and genuinely want to help you out, however they can.
A special mention to Tomas Bodlak who we had been in discussion with prior to our stay who recommended the upgrade to the room (it isn't much 🙂), which was a great shout and was super communicative throughout our stay, to ensure everything was as it should be.
In summary, a fantastic stay in a fantastic hotel in a very interesting and historical city, which we will most definitely return to. Thanks to all the team at the Botanique who contributed to this thoroughly enjoyable stay and we'll be sure to return in 2024 to further explore the great city of Prague and enjoy the excellent hospitality of the Botanique team.

The hotel was in a good position, opposite the Florenc Metro Station, and an easy 20 minute walk to the Old Town Square.
Reception staff were excellent, professional and helpful speaking good English, an easy check-in.
We stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms, which were clean modern and had excellent fittings and finishings, complimentary toiletries, tea coffee etc, and the addition of a mini bar, which was well stocked if a little overpriced ( but optional to use).
The beds were good quality and comfortable, and the rooms warm well received after walking all day in the beautiful city. WIFI in the room was excellent, public areas where usage was greater was a little slow but OK.
Breakfast was superb, plentiful, with a good choice for all, whether you were health conscious, or enjoyed a full breakfast.
We ate in the restaurant on the first night after a long day, the food was excellent.
Complimentary luggage store, for early check outs or last day walking.
Excellent hotel, in a good location. With reasonable prices. Would definitely book again here, and high recommended.

Hotel was in an excellent location, only a short 15-20minute walk to Old Town Square. Metro station is only across the road, so practically no distance to walk to reach hotel. Very easy to travel too across the transport system from the airport. The rooms were large, comfy beds with large smart TVs, a safe and a large modern bathroom (shower and bath). Breakfast buffet had a wide variety of foods. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and the food was well priced and tasty. Management and customer service was great, where most staff spoke english. There is an option to leave luggage with the reception on your final day if your flight is later in the day. Overall, rooms were very clean and spacious and me and my partner had a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is modern, clean, and quiet. It has a bar, restaurant and room service. I can recommend the breakfast, it is deluxe of the variations of food. Staff are friendly and helpful, and accommodating. The room is a standard modern hotel room, but offers a table with chairs. We had twin beds as friends traveling, but I slept so comfortable. The room was nice and warm. The bathroom offers complimentary soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, as well as shower cap, shoe polish, and cotton buds. The towels are thick but standard. No facial cloths. It has a safe for your travel documents and valuables. Wifi is available. Remember (mainland) European charger for the plugs.
The hotel is in walking distance to the city centre, so we only paid an Uber to go to the castle grounds, but really you can walk to that too. There is so many things to do in Prague, but we stayed a long weekend and it was ok, but we would like to return someday, and in particular to stay at this fab hotel! The hotel was mainly young couples but I guess it was due to Valentines. I did notice a few people who appeared to be on their own for business, so you can indeed go solo. I would like to give the staff and hotel my best recommendations.

Recently stayed here for 3 nights in-between Xmas and New year and I have to say how nice this hotel is! It was previously jury's inn which I'm not a fan of but since the takeover some months ago it seems it has had a big overhaul to become a very decent hotel. Good location if you don't mind a bit of a walk or you can use the tram right outside the hotel. Everything looked new and clean and modern. Friendly staff on arrival who also let us have our room as soon as we checked in and we had arrived early from the UK so that was a massive plus after being up from 2am! Big room with a big comfy bed 🙂 all very clean and quiet which was nice I hate it when you can hear people banging doors etc. Lovely lobby/bar/restaurant area and friendly staff throughout. I didn't eat dinner in the hotel but breakfast was by far one of the best I've ever had in a hotel - so much choice hot and cold. I filled my plate every morning and loved it all - the scrambled eggs 🤤 and fresh warm bread yummy! Thanks for a great stay botanique!

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in.
Location is about 15-20min walk to the old town square through the beautiful city, past the main shopping centre. It’s basically a straight walk there so not hard to find the main attractions.
Upon arrival person on front desk tried their best to speak English which was lovely as we didn’t speak Czech (all staff spoke at least a little English and are Very welcoming). there is a (100cz= £3.45 per night) city tax fee to pay upon arrival but every hotel has this.
They have a lovely small gym on the bottom floor, it’s worth having a go on the equipment. I think this hotel is more aimed at business people, hence the gym being empty most of the time!
We had a room on the 8th floor. Lovely and clean, naturally bright and large room and bathroom. No noise heard from any neighbours apart from slightly when walking past (very minimal). Very large and comfortable beds, easy to lie in and relax.
The cleaning staff came every day around 10:45am to clean the room and did a thorough job. You can have a do not disturb sign up and they will come round later, as long as sign is not up part 12pm.
This hotel has a fab selection for breakfast buffet served 6:30am- 10am. Staff are helpful for any advice on where to go and provide brochures and maps to further assist. I would recommend a river boat tour and a guided tour of the town hall and/or castle.
We were also allowed to leave our bags there after our check out time before going to the airport. They also happily booked us a taxi to the airport.
Please be careful coming from the airport in a taxi. We got scammed over 400cz. Do not use the airport taxis (lined outside the airport), if you can- book your own taxi or Uber.
Only thing that could improve it is a swimming pool, but that’s not a necessity. Overall a lovely stay in a beautiful city. Will definitely be returning!

A hotel without carpet! What a delight. The bed was extremely comfortable and spacious. I slept wonderfully every night of my stay there.
Our room had 3 USB A charging points and I think a further 2/3 USB C charging points. It's great if, like me, you're from a country with different plugs.
Nice touches, like the fridge (not mini bar) in the room was great for storing water that we bought across the street in the large Billa supermarket. WiFi in our room was excellent and I was pleased there was no throttling so that you can't do anything unless you pay €5 a day for 'premium' WiFi, as is the case in many other hotels.
Potential future recommendations - following on from its focus on the environment and sustainability - would be to have a filtered water station, perhaps at the bar or reception, so we could use our refillable bottles to have cold, fresh water. The tap water in Prague is obviously safe to drink, but it was quite tepid and not very inviting for a day of trekking around in warm weather.
There are a lot of breakfast options and I'm sure virtually everyone will find something for them (English breakfast, continental style, cereals, bread, yoghurts, pastries, etc), but a lot of it was very heavy and not quite to my taste. I usually go for a Greek yoghurt + granola or porridge for breakfast, so much of the stuff there is not what I'd typically go for. Granted, this is more my problem than theirs and the porridge is available on request! As a vegetarian, I think they could do a better job of separating the meat and dairy utensils as I kept seeing other guests mix and match those: picking up slices of ham and then placing the tongs back down on the cheese! A real highlight, though, was the pancake maker!
The staff were generally really lovely: warm and helpful. It's very well located and well connected by public transport if that's how you choose to get around. I'd recommend walking as much as possible as it takes only about 20-30 minutes to get to some of the main areas of the city. I'd say, though, that it can be a bit of an intimidating area to walk late at night. There was also a safe in our room was that was easy to operate, spacious and secure, so that we felt confident in leaving our passports, money and electronics in there as we travelled around.
All in all, this was definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and made our time in Prague that much better!

Wow what a find !!! Fantastic staff really helpful and welcoming, I emailed before we went to
See if we could get a early check in and a quiet room and both were arranged for us.
The room was on floor 9 and the room was big, clean and really comfortable. The shower was hot and great pressure and modern. The facilities in the hotel were great . The buffet breakfast was all you could eat including hot and cold food and loads of choice for all diets.
The cleaners came everyday and the Covid standards were very high you have to wear your masks in the hotel and all the staff did to which was good to see.
100% would come back here.
The location was slightly out from the main attractions but that suited us we used the metro and trams and walked to move around the City.
There is a a couple of mini markets right next door and lots of coffee shops and restaurants with very cheap food.
The further you went to the tourist hot spots the more expensive the drinks are.
All restaurants check you have your Covid Jabs
Great hotel great location
See if we could get a early check in and a quiet room and both were arranged for us.
The room was on floor 9 and the room was big, clean and really comfortable. The shower was hot and great pressure and modern. The facilities in the hotel were great . The buffet breakfast was all you could eat including hot and cold food and loads of choice for all diets.
The cleaners came everyday and the Covid standards were very high you have to wear your masks in the hotel and all the staff did to which was good to see.

Overall our stay was mainly positive, The lovely staff Sarka and Tomas were always on hand to answer questions. One thing when we arrived when checking in we were informed our card details were only to check in, and no money would be deducted until our day of departure. By the time I got to our bedroom my notifications informed me that the money had been deducted from my credit card with a little extra? I questioned this later & was informed that they take extra in case you put anything on your room tab, then it gets refunded on your day of departure and the final amount then deducted. This appeared quite unusual, as we did not expect all the money to be deducted straight away, & we had been informed it wouldn't? . Then as stated on the departure day, the money was refunded back to my card, whilst they worked out our final bill which was then deducted. Somewhat confusing!. When we had to extend our stay there was no difficulty. The room was clean, & bright, the breakfast buffet style & handy laundry room downstairs where you just buy the capsules and you can wash and dry your clothes. Due to an unexpected delay on our trip this was helpful. The only other issue we had was on the last day with our bill, we questioned the price & were informed by Sarka that prices may vary daily, depending on how full the hotel is, time of year and weekend rates etc.. despite booking online and being emailed the price, this email was also shown, but we were informed "unfortunately, prices can change daily", we found this very strange. We were aware of the city tax and we we had asked for our time to be extended there, on the same rate as the previous week, we were not told the price we mentioned had actually included city tax, so we were charged that price plus the daily city tax per person. It was such a shame as the staff were all lovely, the room was clean and spacious and it was so convenient being right opposite the metro with trams into the old town. I would ask by email if booking online to clarify that the price quoted online will not change when you get there. Apart from those monetary issues its a quite, quaint hotel about 10-15 min walk to the old town, but you can get trams outside hotel, but we loved walking around beautiful Prague.

Visited Prague for new years eve + my birthday and had a wonderful time.
We arrived at the airport and jumped onto the 119 bus which takes you to the underground system. It's best to buy a 90 minute ticket which will cover you for both journeys. The underground system is great, there are basically three different lines which run across the city, red, yellow, green, it's so easy to use and very cheap. We found this the easiest way to get around.
The hotel is situated about 15/20 minute walk from the centre of town, it's easy to walk or there is a underground station straight across the road from the hotel.
There is also a shop opposite which sells fresh produce, toiletries, snacks etc etc.
We found the actual hotel ideally located away from the main centre yet not too far out. It was clean, warm and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a good size bed, which was exceptional comfortable.
The breakfast was faultless, lots of choice and great quality produce. It's a buffet style breakfast and you can happy yourself to as much / little food as you may want. The only negative point was that you may have to wait for a table as the restaurant became very busy at breakfast times. We were always quite lucky and found a seat whilst others had to wait for a space.
I would definitely recommend the Botanique hotel and if we were to go back to Prague we would definitely stay here again.

Yes, they have two elevators
Hi! Breakfast is available from 6.30 am to 10.00 am on weekdays and 6.30 am to 10.30 am on weekends and holidays.
We pre booked a taxi to pick us up from the airport to the hotel through easyJet when we booked our holiday.
If you email hotel directly they will give you a price to arrange a taxi pick up for you.
We have in the past used a very good company called ‘Shuttle Direct’ for airport transfers abroad.
Uber taxi service is usually cheaper but have not personally used in Prague. Enjoy your stay!
Yes it is. It is usually empty so you have it to yourself
Walking is around 15mins to the large/main shopping area from which u can go to bars and the old town square. Also there’s a tram directly opposite, just check with reception what number you need to get on. Lots of bars and a fair amount of clubs 15/20 min walk away
