We had an absolutely lovely 4-night stay in a spacious deluxe room. The location is perfect, close to the Charles Bridge, Old Town, and Jewish Quarter—basically in the middle of everything worth seeing. Svetlana was wonderful at the front desk at check-in, and the other Svetlana's hard work at taking care of the daily breakfast buffet did not go unnoticed—thank you to you both and all the other hotel staff for making our visit to Prague a memorable one!

The Moods Charles Bridge Hotel is a little gem in the heart of historic Prague. Our family (2 adults, a 15 & 17 yr ) stayed in 2 rooms for 4 days in July. We booked Superior Double Rooms directly on the Moods's website. The hotel offers to arrange for pick ups from the Prague airport. It was around $60 USD for (up to 5 people) a one way to the hotel and our driver was waiting for us once we collected our baggage. Upon arrival at the hotel, we waited in the quaint lobby and were checked in promptly. They honored my request to have both rooms near each other and we were placed on the 5th floor. Our rooms had skylights that could be darkened/covered for sleep, but no window to look out for city viewing. (This wasn't a bother for us bc we spent all of our time out of the room besides sleeping.) There was a refrigerator and a desk in our room and it was plenty large for 2 people plus full sized suitcases. The bathroom was sleek and modern and had the usual toiletries. Our beds were super comfortable. I especially loved the individual comforters on the bed! It was super hot while we were in Prague. I would say that our room was cool but not cold, yet still comfortable. Our daughters' room was like an ice box, so it was the luck of the draw on the cooling. The shared spaces of the hotel were always clean and part of the elevator was glass, so we could see the city at the top levels. The hotel is was in the best walking location to see many of Prague's sites: Charles Bridge, Lennon Wall, Dancing House, Mala Strana, Astronomical Clock, etc. Also, waking distance to a ton of great restaurants (a favorite was lunch on the patio at Restaurant Mlynec) and shops. There were multiple convenience stores near to the hotel to grab water, soda and some room snacks. I would not hesitate to book this charming boutique hotel! It has the best location and contributed to making Prague our favorite stop on our European itinerary!

Fantastic location, right in the middle of everything but tucked down a quiet side street. We had a family room which had a sofa bed and a small separate bedroom with a single bed. All very comfortable for our 2 kids. Breakfast was excellent but could get a little crowded at peak times with not enough tables in ‘rush hour’ but the quality was good and everything was replenished/topped up regularly. Couldn’t wished for a better start to our holiday, although worth noting if you are looking for a lively atmosphere with a busy bar then look elsewhere. On our 3 day stay, we didn’t see the bar being used once!

The name of the hotel does not comply to the impression it has given, the mood was completely destroyed after staying here. It was 4 of us having our girls’ trip. The personnel at the front desk was mean and ignorant even we did not ask for any special service, just basic stuff such as leaving bags at the luggage room or calling the taxi to the airport. Eventually, the reception girl deliberately sent our taxi to the train station instead of airport, even the order was made correctly and acknowledged by her. It was just ridiculous that it was completely fine to not even look at the hotel guests when they are standing and waiting at the front desk in order to ask for something, however it was ok to invite own boyfriends to sit there. It really felt that female personnel did not welcome us to their hotel. The only positive thing was location, which is of course not due to service/personnel. Breakfast was mediocre, nothing special there and we had a pleasure to look at the personnel’s dull faces also there. Overall the hotel was clean but we found used panties in our trash bin and there they were all the time until our check-out. So, all in all do not recommend to take risk and stay in this hotel to ruin your holidays.
