Just back from a two night stay and wished we’d stayed longer, we absolutely loved it. It is in a great location also literally next door is an offlicense if you want anything for your room. The rooms are lovely especially the bathroom loved the huge bath, As soon as you enter to check in you are greeted with a glass of Prosecco and the breakfast/brunch is amazing with complementary Prosecco again going on till 2pm . The staff are great lovely guy the manager and guys at the hotel bar. We regularity have dinner in the Dubai Buddha bar restaurant so knew we would really enjoy this one , I actually preferred our dinner and vibe here to dinner the next night at the Four Seasons hotel. Great way to see Prague was going on a trike bike tour ( ask for Prince as your guide) I wish there were more Buddha bar boutique hotels as was fabulous.Thank you

We stayed at this hotel during the Christmas holidays. The location is absolutely perfect, the welcoming staff was very kind and welcoming. The rooms are really nice and well equipped ( big bathtub, connected TV, big wardrobe).
The bed and bedding were really comfortable, we slept and rested really well. The room is also big and comfortable to stay in.
The only downside was the house keeping. We put the « Do not disturb » sign on the door on the first day and yet the cleaning staff knocked and open the door twice on the first morning. The coffee capsules were never refilled and the coffee cups were left unwashed and on the table every day, we had to get our coffee from the bar downstairs. The night stand table were never cleaned either, leaving a layer of dust on it.
Apart from the house keeping quality, it is a fantastic hotel to stay in.

This was our first time visiting Prague as a family with a toddler. As we entered the hotel John made us feel welcome and at home. Offered my little one her selection of pastries and fruits. We knew at that moment that we had picked the right accommodation. The room was spacious, modern and comfortable, truly representative of the pictures shown. Location is fantastic, within a few blocks of the town square, ideally placed to be a bit more quiet but within minutes of walking distance. Having access to the large local gym (state of the art gym) within 5 min of walking distance was another major plus. Last, but not least, the breakfast was fantastic. The hotel offers breakfast/brunch 7:30-1pm with a great selection of fresh juices, ginger wellness shots, cold cuts, cheeses, freshly cut fruits, fresh bread, pastries, jams, and more in addition to the hot selection of breakfast options and a ramen bar. You cannot go wrong with selecting this hotel for your stay. When we visit Prague again, this place will be our choice again without a doubt.

I'm conflicted and would struggle to call this 5*, good 4* yes but of course this was not reflected in the price. The reception is not 5* but room was beautiful and comfortable. Slippers, bathrobe, toiletries were nice. Bath was stunning, unfortunately I was sick for 3 of the 5 night stay so spent the majority of time in the room in bed and did not use the bath, which was a shame as it was very inviting.
Housekeeping wasn't great, we stayed 5 nights and we had completely run out of toilet roll, we had to ask for more when completely run out (which is embarrassing) and even then it took until the next day/late afternoon (in the mean time we had to pinch one from a trolley that we found) on one of the days, at approx. 3-4pm housekeeping came in, I was having an afternoon nap (being unwell and taking sleepy medication), normally you would expect a return visit an hour or two later but never returned. Another day, they took some of the used towels, but did not replace them.
On arrival the receptionist was lovely, gave us a welcome drink and let us into the room early (as we had travelled through the night, arrived at approx. 11am and was exhausted) the porter rushed to get the bags from the taxi, showed us around the room, etc. so that was nice but on exit, no attention, take the bags yourself attitude which was surprising given the attentiveness on arrival.
Room has ceiling speakers from the TV, push button curtains, generally high end within the actual room.
What did bother me was when I went to book a couple of their trips from leaflets that they gave us at the reception on arrival and was told that I would have to pay an additional 10% - what a cheek, never have I experienced this. I refused and asked them to help me book and I would pay the venue directly. Certainly not the behaviour of a 5* hotel.
Breakfast was hit and miss, every day we ordered food, myself from the paid additions and only once did they get it right - on the first breakfast, it was so simple, no chilli oil but they just kept getting it wrong - either you get a completely plain dragon eggs or chilli oil or plain butter rather than garlic and brown butter. Meat in the scrambled eggs even though we requested no meat, etc. no apologies or words for that matter, just whipped it away, bring back another version, which again was wrong but we couldn't be bothered to say anything at this point. Ask for sweetener, but every day, you have to ask several times. The only nice breakfast staff member was a gentleman on one of the days.
It was supposed to be a special trip for our 25th anniversary, when booking with British Airways, they requested a free upgrade if possible, I also again emailed the hotel directly, with the same request, now I am not saying that they have any obligation to do this but a reply would have been nice, i.e. sorry we are fully booked but we can provide xyz to the room (to make it special) for an additional cost. NO they completely ignore the email altogether which is simply rude.
For the cost and issues mentioned above, I would have to really think twice before returning, which is a real shame given the room was lovely and location was great.
Buddha-Bar, just to say, the little things make all of the difference.

Very dark moody super stylish hotel great first impression. Gorgeous room. Massive uber comfortable bed soft pillows. Stunning bathroom and incredible mini bar with everything you could ever want and more!!! Breakfast till 1pm is a fantastic option and gives a wonderful feeling of not being in a rush. Very chilled. Good selection of food from the buffet and cooked food to order with a paid option for speciality dishes Our only complaint was either due to poor communication from reception or just inefficiency from housekeeping team. For a 5 star establishment I wouldn’t expected to have to even ask for soap never mind ask 3 times. We requested some assistance with the heating as the room was uncomfortably hot, again 3 times before it got sorted . Housekeeping was inconsistent. Glasses not changed so we had to wash them ourselves to reuse. One towel for two people on some days, complimentary chocolates and drinking water on two days ( we stayed for 4) very dusty room (see photos) with cleaning equipment and trolley left under cover in the hall ways, not exactly 5 star. Romantic spa option not available due to Technical issue!!
Disappointing, 5 star price 3 or 4 star service it most definitely was not “5 star with above average service” that they claim on their website

Buddha bar hotel is has a great location in old town. The rooms are very spacious, it feels like having a suite when you have a double room. Breakfast has very generous serving hours which is nice so you don’t have to rush. It’s nice to have the possibility to sleep in. Staff really friendly and service minded. We did not use the spa since we thought it to be too expensive and not really offering what we had in mind

The staff are incredibly welcoming and from the moment we walked in the door we felt at home. The beds are amazing, the pillows are out of this world, the bath rooms are gorgeous and the little touches such as the sound system and coffee machine are brilliant. The breakfast is the best, they offer gluten free, dairy free and all allergy information is readily available. I felt safe to eat with all the information being clear. Despite being centre of town the rooms are very quiet and genuinely cannot think of anything that could be provided that would make our stay any better. We loved it!

Unfortunately i had the most unpleasant experience at the buddha bar hotel in Prague! Someone from the staff stole Tom Ford leggings from my room right from my suitcase. The cleaning services by the name Irina talked terribly, and was so rude telling me that i might never had them in my luggage and the managers and stuff behaved as if nothing had happened! Just horrible and has never happened to me even in any 4-star hotels. Nobody offered any reimbursement or open an investigation for my lost of $400. Very unprofessional and unpleasant as they can steal anything from your room. Horrible. I don’t recommend staying there to anyone. Protect yourself as the managers of this hotel won't be able to do that....

This Hotel is probably one of the best places to stay in this beautiful city. The attention to detail of the oriental decor is on point and tastefully done. The rooms are spacious, beds are extremely comfortable and incredibly clean. The staff are all very friendly and eager to please. Honza the front office manager made our stay memorable and we were impressed by his professionalism and helpfulness. A true asset to this fine establishment. The bar has an array of weird and wonderful cocktails… all very reasonably priced… a must try. Breakfast is again excellent and hot food is made to order and is done so very quickly. If there is one recommendation I would make it would be to probably change the staff in the spa as they are not on par with the hotels ethos.
To summarise, all in all this hotel and its services are excellent. We will definitely be returning very soon

I have stayed at several 5-star hotels during my trips to Europe and I can say with certainty that the Buddha & Bar Hotel from Prague surpasses them by the special arrangement of the rooms and especially by the attention of the hotel staff towards the guests. Than I can mention the vary breakfast , served in special conditions. Last but not least , I would mention the favorable position of the hotel in the city center, very close to the main touristic objectives of the city . In a word, a special hotel in a superb city , at an acceptable price.
