We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. Very clean, comfortable room. Kitchen is small and has everything you need. After 2 days we got new towels and the trash was taken out. Location is excellent. Within 10 minutes walk we got to all important sites in the old city. Castle in right outdoor. 5-7 minutes walk from... More

Great location within comfortable walking distance to all sites and good restaurants, but not in the overcrowded main tourist areas around the old town square, which for us was a big plus. We could easily walk over to that part of town in about 10 minutes and in the evening, we are enjoyed the less crowded area around the hotel... More

This is a real find in Prague. It’s a great value. Clean! Great location. Spacious. Well provisioned kitchen. We were a family of four and stayed in the Magdalena apartment. We added a fifth person who visited us from Berlin. Dean and Irina were wonderful and very accommodating. The steps to Prague Castle are at the doorstep. Short walk to... More

We stayed in the Magdalena apartment for six nights. It was very clean, well furnished, and there was plenty of space for myself, my wife, and our two teenagers. The location was a huge plus, as was the clothes washing machine. We had one minor problem with the wifi coverage, but Dean had a tech person come in the next... More

We stayed in the Ferdinand apartment, a completely refurbished attic space for seven nights. It was spacious with a bedroom, living/dining area and small kitchen. It was also immaculate. Dean was very responsive with email communication. I was leery of no deposit for the reservation, just an email confirmation but it was all great. We paid in full upon checking... More

We stayed here for 4 nights (2 adults and 2 children, ages 12 and 8) in the Ludmila apartment. It was clean, spacious and very quirky with everything we needed for our stay. The apartment is in a wonderful old building just at the foot of the castle steps so in a very good location and also fairly close to... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in this hotel. We loved that the room was spacious and bright. Great location since everything was close by. service provided by hotel was amazing. We will definitely stay here if we return to Prague. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is very nice and located in Praha 1, everything is close. We stayed in Studio Mariann - very nice furniture but terrible bed (Sultan, Ikea, soft and noisy). There is only 1 double blanket provided and as there is no staff in the hotel after 3 pm, you cannot ask another one. Overall a good place to stay,... More

Recently stayed two nights in the Ludmilla 2-bedroom apartment and really enjoyed our experience. Good communication prior to arriving and we elected to pay the 30 euros for parking although we were given other options by Dean. The parking was close by at a secure hotel garage and I was advised after the fact that it was smart to get... More

Stayed 4 nights in this beautiful spacious apartment on the first floor in a 15th century building. Felt very secure with outside entrance, locked gate on stairs as well as key to the apartment. Excellent location in walking distance to castle, Charles Bridge, old town square and the beautiful less touristy Lesser Town. Half hour walk to main train station.... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
