The apartment is located in the old building, but very neat and clean inside. In two steps from the front door the stairs to the Prague Castle begin, and you can see the roofs of the old Prague buildings from your window. It is like a travel to the past but very comfortable. We stayed in 1 bedroom apartment, but... More

If you are looking for a place to stay near Prague Castle, it is hard to imagine you could find a better place for the price. Located in Little Quarter in a 16th century building just a stone's throw from the steps leading to the castle, it has a kitchen, very large bedroom with queen size bed and a sleeper... More

First of all, if you are looking for contemporary modern amenities, then this is not for you. Having said that, if you are looking for an old world charm, then this is the right place. It is located in Mala Strana, literally the bottom of the steps that leads to the Castle. You will appreciate this after a day of... More

Having stayed here previously 7 years ago I can say it hasn't changed, and that's a good thing. We were well looked after from the moment we walked in. We checked in early and they made sure our room was ready for us, which was lovely. Brilliantly situated tourism wise, right at the bottom of the steps leading to the... More

This is our 5th visit to Prague. We stayed here for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Big rooms plus a hydro massage bath! Perfect central location in Mala Strana on a quiet street. The staff are so helpful we will definitely return. Highly recommend.

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. Very clean, comfortable room. Kitchen is small and has everything you need. After 2 days we got new towels and the trash was taken out. Location is excellent. Within 10 minutes walk we got to all important sites in the old city. Castle in right outdoor. 5-7 minutes walk from... More

Great location within comfortable walking distance to all sites and good restaurants, but not in the overcrowded main tourist areas around the old town square, which for us was a big plus. We could easily walk over to that part of town in about 10 minutes and in the evening, we are enjoyed the less crowded area around the hotel... More

This is a real find in Prague. It’s a great value. Clean! Great location. Spacious. Well provisioned kitchen. We were a family of four and stayed in the Magdalena apartment. We added a fifth person who visited us from Berlin. Dean and Irina were wonderful and very accommodating. The steps to Prague Castle are at the doorstep. Short walk to... More

We stayed in the Magdalena apartment for six nights. It was very clean, well furnished, and there was plenty of space for myself, my wife, and our two teenagers. The location was a huge plus, as was the clothes washing machine. We had one minor problem with the wifi coverage, but Dean had a tech person come in the next... More

We stayed in the Ferdinand apartment, a completely refurbished attic space for seven nights. It was spacious with a bedroom, living/dining area and small kitchen. It was also immaculate. Dean was very responsive with email communication. I was leery of no deposit for the reservation, just an email confirmation but it was all great. We paid in full upon checking... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
