It's layout allows to have isolated apartments, which means less noise, people and everything. There's a common place, however, to hang around if you like it. If you want to stay in downtown prague in an old but clean and quality building this is it.

I stayed here for almost three months and had a lovely time. I had a one-bedroom apartment, with a full bathroom, kitchen, dishwasher, and clothes washer. The appliances were top-notch. The furniture was comfortable. I had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful and always available. Cleaning service was reliable. The location is very convenient. Two major tram... We found this place by accident, while other hotels had no more beds. And it turned out to be best choice. The staff here is great! Young and very helpful people, keep this place clean and nice. Location is in the city centre, so you can reach everything by foot. We had 4-bed bedroom with one living room. Except that,... More

The hostel was a nice looking, apartment-like building. Room was clean, linings were clean and the bathrooms were clean. There was a nice kitchen with all necesseties, though not enough glasses. One bigger minus was the lack of keys, we had a 4 person private and we only got one key. Id recommend this hostel for a couple or a... More

I really enjoyed my stay there. Service is super nice and not only eloquent but also competent! Rooms and interior is super nice for this price and its localised really close to city old town. Though I preferred to move around by bike as I'm bike enthusiast ;) Check it yourself! Oh and just around the block there is a... More

We recommend the place. It has the best position, close to Vltava; we used to walk by the river, drink morning coffee on Slovansky Island, or watch most beautiful sunsets over the Prague Castle. Not to mention the closeness of many of the most famous pivnice in Prague (U Fleku, U Medvidku, U Vejvodu, U Zlatego Tygra, U Pinkasu...;)). Karl's... More

Definitely one of the best places I've stayed in, great staff, so friendly and always up for a chat and a joke. They were great at telling us the good spots. Located in a great spot, close to the tram line and a short walk to river, all the good attractions. Great rooms, clean, good wifi, good facilities, and secure.... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
