The location is really good, a lot of nice venues nearby. But there are several issues with cleanness. The room was not clean even on the first day. There were bed bugs in our room. When we contacted the staff on this problem they did nothing to help, didn't offer us another room. Actually it seemed like they have already... More

Rooms are clean and very standard for European hostels. Some are themed such as my room, which was The Beatles themed. This hostel is located near the river and the dancing house- near many bars. However during my visit the card machine was broken so I had to pay in cash . Also our apartment only had 2 showers shared... More

Very nice room for a Hostel and for the price with very friendly staff. The room had lots of facilities we did not expect as budget travellers which was a great surprise. Brilliant location walk-able to all the main attractions in Prague. Overall very good, the only problem was the very weak WiFi connection to our room, I ended up... More

I stayed in this hostel with 11 other friends. The main receptionist Nicholas was very friendly and welcoming. The hostel is in a great location in the heart of Prague and is only a 10 minute walk away from the main square. The 12 of us had the whole dorm to ourselves and the dorm bedrooms were very big. Would... More

Great hostel in excellent location...!!! The rooms are very generous and clean. Our rooms had no bunk beds which was a bonus. Fully equipped kitchen. All staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Good and free Wifi throughout the hostel.

Great apartment style accommodation on a budget. Stayed for 7 nights with 30 people competing in a sporting event, and it was perfect for our needs. Very helpful staff accommodating all our requests and plenty of room in the apartments. Good wifi throughout all rooms. Can thoroughly recommend it!

It's layout allows to have isolated apartments, which means less noise, people and everything. There's a common place, however, to hang around if you like it. If you want to stay in downtown prague in an old but clean and quality building this is it.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
