The only positive thing is the location. The hostel is located near the Old Town, and near to many attractions. However, the staffs weren't much friendly. They also told they accepted only Czech Koruna, but they didn't tell or announce early before arriving, and I saw the information that they accept euro, so we didn't prepare Czech Koruna for the... This hostel is located very close to old prague square, and can not be beaten on location. Everything is within walking distance; restaurants, bars, & tourist attractions. Taxi from the airport cost 700crowns. On arrival at the hostel the remaining balance of 8000crowns was payable, however visa wasn't accepted; thus meaning i had to walk the street of Prague late... Every staff member I met was amazing and so helpful. The bathrooms were small, but clean, and I found the bunk-beds pretty comfortable. Nice common area with couches to hangout in. The location is actually perfect. It's exactly where you want to be! You can't go wrong staying here.

I took a train from Amsterdam to Prague. Since the stop in Prague was at the central station it was easy to navigate my way to the metro station and then go two stops. The directions on the site are reliable. I arrived really late, but since the front desk is 24/7, I had no problem. Jonny was working the... More

One minute away from the Old Town Square, just above a very touristic street, the hostel couldn't be better located. It would be hard to find a place where you could enjoy a hot cup of coffee while gazing at all the hustle and bustle of one of the most iconic capitals of Europe, just below your window! The bedrooms... More

Excellent service, they let us take a shower before our checkin, the building is old and the entry into an alley, more everything very clean and organized. And it is located in the center of the attractions of Prague, recommend!

What was good with this hostel was the central location, one minute from Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock. I never used public transport due to the fact that every major tourist attraction was not more than 20 min away. What was absolutely great with this place were the people working at the reception. The were extremely friendly and... More

Clean bathrooms, comfy beds, free breakfast, nice people, perfect location - what more could you want? Good secure lockers, seperately locked rooms. Nice breakfast, including a sandwich we saved for lunch. Free adapters to borrow, and a nice large common space. Hostel does not organise nights out, but you can meet enough people to go anyway!

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our interrailing trip and had a great stay. The woman on the desk when we arrived was really really lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. The room was fairly small and nothing special, but given we only paid £10 a night we were expecting much worse. The free breakfast wasn't... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
