About

#180 of 680 hotels in Prague
The Luxury Family Hotel Royal Palace is a boutique five-star hotel located in the historical part of Prague called Lesser Town (Malá Strana). This is one of Prague’s safest neighbourhoods, full of Czech Government offices and foreign Embassies. The Lesser Town also became a UNESCO historical heritage site in 1993. The building was built in the 19th century in neo-renaissance style. It is the ideal location for anyone who enjoys sightseeing or walking around the city. Both Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge are within a short walk of the hotel. The Royal Palace provides perfect luxury accommodation for business trips due to its location immediately adjoining the Ministry of Finance and close to other important buildings. On the other hand, the unique view from the rooms means the hotel is also ideal for romantic weddings, honeymoons and magical holidays.

We had a great time in the hotel. The rooms were great and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom big enough. Everything was very clean. We had a fantastic view from our room! The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, with everything you need - only the scrambeld eggs could have been better.

We chose this hotel due to its location and historic appeal. Our expectations were met on both fronts. But it was the entire staff of the hotel that blew us away! They were very helpful and genuinely cared. Nothing was too much of an ask and they went out of their way to look after us every day! We felt like royalty! Upon checking in to our room, we were surprised by a bottle of champagne and fresh fruit. The room was full of historic charm with a view of Prague Castle! It was very quiet as the windows are double glazed and the room door is specially insulated. Breakfast was included in the room rate and we really enjoyed the generous buffet with omelettes made to order and assorted Christmas cookies throughout our stay. The hotel is located in a less crowded part of Prague - Lesser Town (Mala Strana). However, it is only about 5-10 minutes by foot to Charles Bridge. There are also a lot of great restaurants and bars in the close vicinity. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a magical stay in Prague!

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the hotel over Christmas, and were very happy with our choice. The hotel is in an excellent location, away from hustle and bustle; but for us easily walkable to Prague Castle complex, Kampa Island, Old Town, Jewish Quarter, and Wenceslas Square. All of these could be reached on foot within 10-20 min of the hotel. The tram stops very close by also. We found the staff to all be welcoming, friendly and very helpful. This is a beautiful boutique hotel, which has an elegant, traditional style befitting the Old Town. We had a deluxe room, which was very comfortable and well appointed; with views of the castle and Wallenstein garden. It was also very clean throughout the hotel. We heard no noise in our room and slept very well. The only thing I would change would be some firmer pillows, as feather ones tend to flatten in the night; but that's what we're used to. The addition of complimentary fruit, chocolate and bottled water in the room was nice. We did not dine in the hotel, but breakfast was plentiful and varied, service very good. The hotel also has a bar where we enjoyed coffee; again, great service. We did not use the spa. We have stayed at many 5* hotels, and have high expectations; we could not fault our stay, and would definitely return. Yes, it is small (as are most centrally-located hotels here), but for us this adds to the charm and character. For us, it was a great choice to enhance our experience in this beautiful city.

Could not fault this hotel one bit. We had the ambassador suite and my god it did not disappoint. The view from the balcony onto Prague castle was magical. The room was spacious and clean with plenty of storage. Just a short walk to charles bridge.
