+ Good location + Nice classy design - EXTREMELY POOR breakfast and very rude staff serving it (rushing you to finish the 2 pieces of butter and jam...) - For one day the heater was broken (3 degrees Celsius night) - For one day there was no hot water - I could not take a shower in a "5 star" hotel !!! - Air conditioning cannot be controlled from the room - sometimes it blasts cold air at full power in the middle of the night - Bathroom sink was clogged, filling up after 1 minute of running water
We had a great time in the hotel. The rooms were great and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom big enough. Everything was very clean. We had a fantastic view from our room! The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, with everything you need - only the scrambeld eggs could have been better.
we came to romantic holiday to celebrate our anniversary. the hotel gave us buttle of Champlain as a gift and make us early check in free!! every thing you ask you got with a big smile . the ambassador suit was the best suit ever the a view that look like a picture. the cleaning was perfect the breakfast was very good. i will recomand it to every one that come to prauge. thank you for everything!!!
We chose this hotel due to its location and historic appeal. Our expectations were met on both fronts. But it was the entire staff of the hotel that blew us away! They were very helpful and genuinely cared. Nothing was too much of an ask and they went out of their way to look after us every day! We felt like royalty! Upon checking in to our room, we were surprised by a bottle of champagne and fresh fruit. The room was full of historic charm with a view of Prague Castle! It was very quiet as the windows are double glazed and the room door is specially insulated. Breakfast was included in the room rate and we really enjoyed the generous buffet with omelettes made to order and assorted Christmas cookies throughout our stay. The hotel is located in a less crowded part of Prague - Lesser Town (Mala Strana). However, it is only about 5-10 minutes by foot to Charles Bridge. There are also a lot of great restaurants and bars in the close vicinity. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a magical stay in Prague!…
My husband and I spent 3 nights at the hotel over Christmas, and were very happy with our choice. The hotel is in an excellent location, away from hustle and bustle; but for us easily walkable to Prague Castle complex, Kampa Island, Old Town, Jewish Quarter, and Wenceslas Square. All of these could be reached on foot within 10-20 min of the hotel. The tram stops very close by also. We found the staff to all be welcoming, friendly and very helpful. This is a beautiful boutique hotel, which has an elegant, traditional style befitting the Old Town. We had a deluxe room, which was very comfortable and well appointed; with views of the castle and Wallenstein garden. It was also very clean throughout the hotel. We heard no noise in our room and slept very well. The only thing I would change would be some firmer pillows, as feather ones tend to flatten in the night; but that's what we're used to. The addition of complimentary fruit, chocolate and bottled water in the room was nice. We did not dine in the hotel, but breakfast was plentiful and varied, service very good. The hotel also has a bar where we enjoyed coffee; again, great service. We did not use the spa. We have stayed at many 5* hotels, and have high expectations; we could not fault our stay, and would definitely return. Yes, it is small (as are most centrally-located hotels here), but for us this adds to the charm and character. For us, it was a great choice to enhance our experience in this beautiful city.…
Could not fault this hotel one bit. We had the ambassador suite and my god it did not disappoint. The view from the balcony onto Prague castle was magical. The room was spacious and clean with plenty of storage. Just a short walk to charles bridge.
Speechless... we wanted to look at this “5 star hotel” since we needed a hotel for this weekend so we walked in to take a look. my wife who is pregnant needs to use the toilet. The front desk person was so rude and didn’t ask if we were staying there or looking. She is immediately asked us to leave like it was a private residence and as we were walking out my wife asked again to use the toilet and they called security to escort us out. We now know why it is only 100 USD to stay here. This place is a complete joke. “ Luxury family” The building was gross and there is hardly any sidewalk in front. Definitely not a good place for children. We opted to look at the Augustine which was compatible in price which was a TRUE 5 star hotel. My wife was greeted and was allowed to use the bathroom. Hopefully management reads this and maybe looks to see if their office staff is actually doing their job. Can’t imagine this place will be in business long... unfortunately we will be putting this on our social media as we video taped the event.…
My first visit certainly not the last! I was surprised how nice everything was. Staff, cleanness, accommodation and breakfast - excellent! The best view to Prague castle! Thank you and see you soon! :)
Lovely hotel in very good condition, room stunning and decor is beautiful, staff welcoming and helpful, perfect location for looking around old town and new town and castle , 5mins away from all of this, located in Malta strana which is the lesser town or small quarter, lots of beautiful buildings in the streets to look around.
Our daughter was married in Prague the weekend of 10/10 through10/14. Hotel Royal Palace could not have been more accommodating. The hotel was centrally located, beautiful, breakfast was delicious and a great meeting place in the morning to firm up plans with the guests, the bar stayed open later to accommodate our after wedding party, the staff was so nice and helpful and the hotel was a comfortable size for all of our out of town guests. (around 80 people) All of their rooms from Standard, Deluxe, Ambassador Suite to the Presidential Suite were beautiful. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
