My wife and I had the great pleasure of staying at the Augustine, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Prague, for the most amazing stay we have ever had at a hotel. The Augustine is ideally located to experience Prague -- everything is within walking distance. The staff -- and I mean every single person with whom we interacted -- is absolutely wonderful. They are proficient in multiple languages and their English is perfect. The rooms are spacious and unique with great amenities. The food and drink is also spectacular. On top of it all, this property has a fascinating history going back to the Middle Ages that has been beautifully preserved while the renovations have made the entire hotel modern, efficient, and unique. There is no better place to stay in Prague -- I cannot wait until my next visit.…
Love this hotel!!!! Location is perfect. The rooms are amazing!!!! We had three rooms and all three rooms were different, but very elegantly furnished. We added a rollaway bed to one room and there was still plenty of space to walk around. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was perfect. I think I gained 20 pounds during our 4 night stay!!! Each day, we ask each other how lucky we were to stay at such an amazing, luxurious hotel. It not only has character and history, but definitely a 5-star feel. Without a doubt, we would stay here again!!!!!
As a previous review said this is likely the best place to stay in Prague great location, serene setting, large beautiful rooms, over the top breakfast and lovely staff. As a Titanium Elite member I will be back. Also, no small children during our stay, I was with my adult daughter, it was luxurious and peaceful.
The Augustine Hotel, Luxury Collection, is likely the best possible place to stay while visiting Prague. It is close enough to allow easy access to downtown and great shopping and restaurants while still being in a serene part of the old city. The hotel is gorgeous and the staff amazing. As a Lifetime Titanium member, I give this property my highest recommendation.
A very comfortable and enjoyable stay at The Augustine in the middle of Prague. We enjoyed an excellent room which faced the busy road but we were still in oasis of tranquility. The room features were all good; a spacious bathroom with two sinks, a bath/shower where I would liked to have had a grab bar, a good working Internet connection, comfortable bed and a good television with ample international channels. The hotel team was friendly and especially the Concierge was helpful with directions and information. Food & Beverage was adequate, a shame the beautiful brewery is closed for the time being. Breakfast was good with a good variety of breakfast items. The downside of The Augustine seems to be the limited parking space on site - we were fortunate enough to have been given a space. We also visited the Four Seasons and Mandarin-Oriental and I believe The Augustine has the best location of these three hotels. I will definitely stay here again!…
My husband and I were delighted with our entire stay at the beautiful Augustine hotel. Our room was elegant, spacious, immaculate and very comfortable with a charming view of the Old World downtown. Dinner at the hotel was the best of our trip; the chef is inventive with our food having a perfect melding of flavors. Everyone at the hotel was accommodating, professional and pleasant. The hotel is well located within walking distance of all of the sites we wanted to see. It abuts a park and is close to the river as well as restaurants, shops and many other attractions. We highly recommend Augustine to anyone visiting Prague.
We spent 2 nights in a castle view room on the 4th floor. Room was lovely and accommodations were comfortable. The outside bar was perfect for drinks and a mid day snack. Food was amazing. The breakfast buffet was not as robust as other 5star hotels and service was a little slow. The concierge was very helpful in planning our dinner reservations. The location is perfect walking distance to the Charles bridge and other sites.
Location, location, location! Just around the corner from Charles Bridge, located in Lesser Town, and an easy walk to Old Town. The hotel is beautiful, in a former monastery dating back to the 13th century. Food was delicious for breakfast and lunch. Staff was so courteous and always eager to please. Caution: we were given a room next to the street and heard noise all night from trams and traffic. After the first night, we were ok. You may want to request a room that is quieter.
My stay at the Augustine was like no other! I stayed in the Tower Suite and it was absolutely breathtaking, it’ll be an experience I’ll never forget. Even down to the Byredo hand soaps and attention to detail in the room. The breakfast is delicious, with the buffet offering lots of options! I stayed here solo, but I can’t recommend enough how amazing the Tower Suite would have been if you were able to share the experience with someone else, my photos don’t do it justice.
Great little hotel with a good location. Would highly recommend staying here on a visit to Prague, even if just for a few days as part of a longer visit. Great access to Mala Strana and Prague Castle. Easy to walk to old town over Charles Bridge (packed) or Manes Bridge. Best part of the service was Jan at breakfast. My wife is a health-focused vegan and had a number of special requests which Jan ensured were respected. The buffet and menu items were vast and tasty. The staff in the restaurant try to pro Pros: Cons:
