The Grand Mark has convenient location, just a few steps from the main square, beautiful restaurant for breakfast, choice of breakfast is nice, nothing special yet not bad. Spacious rooms, big bathrooms, city view, huge balcony (if you are travelling during summer months), spa is small but really good and seemed to be renovated (but It is extremely hard to get inside! ) A lot of disappointments: * we were given very smelly room, someone smoked cigarettes or cigars previously , the girl from the reception gave us another room which was a little less smelly , seems like dining area need a little refreshment, *we moved to another room and asked to bring our luggage and ironing desk from the previous room, we’re waiting in the room for 10 minutes but nothing happened, than my husband went and took our two suitcases and ironing desk by his own , they simply forgot about our staff. Nobody never came! *we choose this hotel for its spa availability but in three days could get inside only for 40 minutes in the last day. The hotel has really stupid rule, that you can get inside ONLY UNTIL 4 pm ( for free and it can be booked only by one group of customers , the rest of the visitors can’t get inside !!! ), than you need to book in advance but it is impossible because it is always occupied by other guests or as we noticed by people from outside (on the last day we were asked to go out at 4 pm because 4 lady’s came for their booking and I have noticed that they are not from our hotel, cos they were in the outside clothes and were surprised to see us inside in hotel bathrobes). The main time convenient time for us was exactly from 3:30 to 6 pm (it is not a problem for us to pay an extra for spa, but is really stupid that you have to pay in a 5 star hotel for spa!!! ) and in the first two days we just couldn’t make it because it was fully booked from 4 to 6 pm. *The worst in this story was on the second day, when we came to the spa, the asian girl showed us everything , brought us a tea, we just tried to relax and lied down on the sun-bed as she came in 5 minutes after she brought us tea and asked to leave right now because spa was booked by a family from the hotel (probably she forgot about the booking ). We didn’t even had a sip of tea. We were furious about this situation! In conclusion will summarize everything. Service is below 3 stars hotel, staff is not professional at all, all your luggage if you are changing the room you have to carry by your self and it is impossible to get to the spa because it the strange rules of the hotel. My husband and I were really disappointed and we will not come back to this hotel for sure, there are better options in the nearest 5 star hotels and the service there is much higher !

The hotel is located in central Prague, with great shops within walking distance. We had an executive suite which was beautifully decorated and had lovely rooms. Especially enjoyed the bathroom. We also had a street view with a balcony. Excellent breakfast, full continental and had a omelette cooked to order. Where we were let down was the service. Whilst the staff was polite, it seemed as they were just not interested. No welcome at the door. No greetings. No one to open the doors. No one to help us unload 3 peoples suitcases from the taxi. Just a lack of service. It does not compare to the service of others in the area such as the Marriot or the Four Seasons, but fall into the same price bracket. Hopefully the general manager will pick this review up and also review his service levels. Beautiful hotel, just poor service. Not sure we will be back

We were looking for a hotel in the center of Prague and my boyfriend found this one. I absolutely fell in love. Everything was perfect. Delicious breakfast, coffee. The garden with peacocks is breathtaking. Room was clean a cozy. Staff were very nice and professional. Thank you so much for big experience. We certainly weren't here for the last time.

Great stay, will come back. The hotel staff was very pleasant and flexible. The doorman, Bilal was extremely professional and helpful! The location was ideal for sightseeing and finding Prague’s best restaurants. The room was very spacious and luxurious. Thanks for the pleasant visit!

We are just back from one night trip to Prague, we spent at The Grand Mark Hotel. Our favourite Prague Hotel since years. They keep always a very high standard of service. Again we had a very nice apartment with a balcony. Breakfast in the conservatory was excellent and so was the service. It’s a big pleasure to stay here.
