The hotel is just a few meters outside the main square, which makes it at the same time very convenient and also very quiet. The building is classic and beautiful, with very good breakfast and a beautiful garden. The room I stayed was a very functional and spacious duplex suite, with one full bathroom (no bathtub, though) on the second floor and a lavatory on the first. There is some wasted space which could have housed a small kitchen, but that is fine.

Overall, the services were very efficient from check-in to check-out, to suggestions of restaurants and places to visit. My one complaint relates to the time it took for my car to be returned when I checked-out. I was informed that it would take 20 minutes but, even considering the quiet time I asked for it (1:40 in the morning!) it took them 45 minutes to bring it. Not the biggest problem in the world, but, if you are in hurry, you should plan accordingly.

Absolutely loved staying here on a weekend away with my husband and pup. The staff were amazing, the hotel was lovely, the food was good, and the drinks were great!
To start, the staff - cannot say enough things about how wonderful the staff were. Every time we had our pup with us they brought her water and said hello. When she wasn’t with us, they were still rockstars. Have to do a special shout out to Ciprian who made it his mission to personally take care of us the whole weekend. It was my husband’s birthday and Ciprian helped pick out the perfect scotch and made us feel welcomed like family. He was there when we got to breakfast and there when we had our nightcap - always with a smile and always doing everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. You’re in good hands here.
Our room was the duplex suite and it was beautifully appointed with 2 couches downstairs, a small eating area (with coffee, tea, water, and mini bar), a half bathroom downstairs, and upstairs a full bathroom with separate HUGE tub, and a giant bed that we could get lost in!
The room was lovely and we were glad we booked it, it even came with an anti-COVID kit of some masks, disinfecting wipes, and hand sanitizer! A couple of minor drawbacks were that the upstairs got a little warm and the AC sometimes struggled to keep it fully comfortable. We considered requesting a fan from the concierge, but it never got so hot we felt the need to. Just mildly uncomfy sometimes. Also, the water from the shower smelled a little funky at times. Despite these annoyances, this was still a 5 star stay (did you see what I had to say about the service?).
The food was good, albeit we only ever had breakfast at the hotel because we were otherwise too busy exploring. We could eat from the buffet, or order a few items (like eggs or waffles). We got the eggs Benedict and OMG. Probably the best eggs Benni we’ve ever had. The sauce lightly lemony, the eggs perfectly poached. So good. The rest of the buffet was normally winding down when we would come down so we would get maybe some potatoes or baked goods. They did have scrambled eggs, normally a meat protein, an assortment of pastries, and typically some granola and yogurt.
The bar was a full bar and we enjoyed having a night cap and getting to chat with the staff when the evening was drawing to a close.
A big thank you to the hotel for the lovely surprise birthday cake in our room on my husband’s birthday. The garden also has a family of peacocks living there, which were fun to watch walk around!

I stayed in the hotel in February with my girlfriend as it was a late Christmas gift.
We already heard of the hotel and had known it's former Kempinski so our expectations were quite high from the very beginning.

We were really pleased with smooth online check-in and very swift communication from the hotel. The cleanliness was obvious at a first sight and we could also smell a nice frangrance in the hall.

Pastry, butter, jams and other items for breakfast were packed individually and nicely.

Needless to say that location of the hotel is simply great. You can basically get to any of the most famous spots in Prague by walk.

To summarise that - great experience, very clean hotel (top notch), great service, food and location.

Would love to go back one day, definitely!

For travelling from work in times of Covid-19, for me it was essential to choose a clean and reliable hotel, very satisfied that I decided to stay at the Grand Mark hotel and trust their professional team. I spent 3 days and everything was simply perfect! Hand sanitisers provided everywhere, guests and stuff wearing face masks at all times, yet all the amenities were functioning (only for hotel guests). Restaurant serves delicious and fresh meals, has great selection of seasonal and breakfast offers. Relaxing spa at the end of a busy day is the best thing a person can wish for… It will be my to-go-hotel for upcoming business trips.

I stayed in this hotel, and loved it. The receptionists were good, perfectly spoke English. For foreigners it’s a big plus. Offered us a drink and offered the help with our luggage. The room was clean, spacious and there are double curtains on the windows. For the people who appreciate their sleep it is a perfect place. A tv has a lot of channels in all the languages. Bathroom’s heating worked good, enough of light in every of the room. Two bottles of water from Karlovy Vary, tea for any taste and coffee you can enjoy in your room. Spa consists of massage rooms and a swimming pool. Swimming pool is free, but you can reserve it for an individual stay. Pool is small, but it’s the first hotel where the water was really super warm, with bubbles of different regimes. 2 saunas: 1 dry and 1 wet, water and water with lemon were standing nearby. The restaurant food was amazing. We had a good trainee (Tarlan), who I hope will further work in this restaurant, cause he offered us meals and helped to choose ones. Perfectly knew the menu, ingredients and for my birthday prepared the dessert with a candle and even sang a song. As the guests of the hotel, we would like you tell him our big thanks for the atmosphere we felt during all our dinner. Amazing food, every time we’re pleasantly surprised. And amazing breakfast. We recommend to try their waffles. Also, great garden the hotel has , with beautiful birds, and a small fountain. Don’t understand negative reviews about the Grand Mark hotel, we would like to come back. Thank you all for our lovely stay.

Absolutely LOVED our stay here. 5/5 taking into account the price point, 8/10 on a broader scale for all hotels across all price points. The weirdly pixelated website doesn’t do the place justice at all and really is the only negative about this hotel, not sure why they don’t update that. The location is perfect, right on the eastern edge of the main tourist area, so easy walking distance of anything you’d want to do but without any large crowds or drunk party goers drifting past at night (it is Prague after all). We stayed as part of the Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts program and got all the benefits that come with that without any issues - booked a Superior Double, upgraded to Duplex Suite upon check-in, full breakfast for the 2 of us daily, $100 hotel credit that we chose to use on dinner in their fantastic garden restaurant, and late checkout till 4pm. The breakfast spread was SUPERB and deserves special mention: hot options cooked to order, hot buffet, cold buffet including an impressive selection of meats and cheeses (and even pate!), teas, coffees, juices, juice health shots… and the list goes on! The suite was spacious enough for Europe, with multiple closets and an additional powder room, although perhaps it would have been nice to have had a bathtub. Instead we visited the spa every day, where they have a large jacuzzi pool, sauna and steam room, plus the option to book massages. Note that the gym is on the smaller side with a max dumbbell weight of only 10kg. Special shout out to Bilal who was super helpful throughout the stay including holding our bags and setting us up with some welcome drinks while we waited to check in at peak time. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

A really true gem just right in the Prague city centre next to the Municipality House and the Powder Tower, so not far away the Wenceslas Square and other local sights. It belongs to the Leading Hotels of the World and rightly so.

Apparently, this beautiful Baroque palace used to be a hospital many years ago. Guests can enjoy a beautiful courtyard garden, a perfect place for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner (it's partially covered in case the weather is not the best). The garden is a home to three peacocks parading around or sitting on the windows - see my photos. :-)

By the way, the buffet breakfast was one of the best ones I have even had.

The hotel was absolutely spotless and everybody was observing hygienic rules, wearing facemasks, with hand disinfectants available and a COVID protection box in the room. Great service overall.

As we stayed only 4 nights and the weather was gorgeous, we did not use any other facilities and spent most of the time walking around beautiful Prague. But we will be back to explore more!

We stayed in an executive suite. The bed was extremely comfortable, the linens were of great quality, including the towels and robes. The room came equipped with everything you could think of and the view of the interior garden was beautiful. Breakfast was solid - very typical for an upscale European hotel. The location was fantastic close enough to be a 3-5 minute walk to old town but not so close that you had to deal with any noise. The hotel arranged for a driver to pick us up for our late arrival at the airport - 1 in the morning and he was on time and very helpful. Would absolutely stay there again.

We have been for three nights at the Grand Mark Prague.
It was nearly perfect. Everyone from the staff was very helpful and friendly, the checkin went very fast and we could enter our room two hours earlier. Thanks again for that! The room has everything you need, was very clean and we had a great balcony and we really enjoyed it in the room.
The breakfast was very delicious, a wide range for every taste and it was always fresh. The Le Grill Restaurant is also very good, we had one dinner there and loved it.

There was one negative point and that´s the reason why i only give four points. We booked the spa area two times, always in the morning. The steam bath and the sauna was both times completely cold and the staff turned on the heating when our reservation started. One day we had a two hours reservation and after an hour and 15 minutes it was some like hot but on the second day we only made a reservation for one hour and it was not usable. So we paid and could only use the jacuzzi. And that´s not worth 35,- €/hour. At the checkout my wife told the receptionist about it, but she did not seem to be interested in it and said only that she can not say what went wrong.

All in all, very good hotel. If next time the spa would be usable, it would be perfect.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and we loved it, rooms are so cozy and beautifully decorated, the staff are great, it's very central and close to shopping malls, restaurants, bars etc. We loved the little accessories for kids like the slippers, housecoat and shower gels. Breakfast was very good and diverse, gluten free options, kefir available, organic yoghurt, fresh juices, etc.

Hi there Sorry about the delay in responding I have been away. There were no maintenance issues when we were there and no noise either. Yes there was a wedding when we attended however by evening there was no noise. We had a family room which we loved so am not sure about the attic room though. The staff are very helpful though.
