Nestled conveniently with easy access to the city, Iris Hotel Eden is a popular choice among guests for its prime location near public transport and a shopping mall. The hotel's array of amenities, such as varied breakfast options and free parking, coupled with the modern charm of its rooms, has earned it plaudits for both cleanliness and comfort.
While the hotel is celebrated for its affordability and value, some travelers have noted occasional service issues, although the friendly and professional staff often compensates for this.

Detailed Reviews
Me and my mum stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is in a good location and very close to the centre which you can reach by tram (2 mins from hotel). The trams are very frequent and go all over Prague, including the castle and close to the old town. (You can reach the castle in approx 20-30 mins by tram-number 22 takes u about 5 mins walk away from the castle) google maps is so helpful as it shows u which tram goes to your requested destination.
The room at the hotel was clean and modern. The beds were very comfy and the shower was also very good. The breakfast was tasty with a lot of choice including hot options such as toast/sausages/eggs and sweet options such as croissants/cereals/fruit as well as tea and coffee facilities.
The staff at the hotel were really friendly and polite. Me and my mum both felt safe here and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

From the moment we arrived we couldn’t have felt more welcomed! The staff have been so accommodating and courteous. Veronika at Reception has gone out of her way to arrange massages as this was something we really wanted and she did a great job!
The rooms are big and spacious as well as the bathroom! The breakfast was varied and hot, offering a wide selection from continental, cooked, and great coffee!
The hotel is situated in a good location, right next to a massive Tesco, so if you need to stock up on meds, snacks or water it’s great!
Uber is only £5 to the main old town square... if you can’t be bothered with Trams!

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveler reviews.
Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights at the start of March through a wowcher holiday deal. The hotel was lovely, and the rooms were cleaned everyday unless the maids were asked otherwise. When you arrive you have to pay a hotel deposit which you get back when you check out and tourist tax (which is very common). Although the hotel is not directly in city centre the tram stop is a 2 minute walk away, and there are shops and food places near by or you can eat in the hotel.
We didn’t really spend a lot of time in the hotel but the time we did spend there we have no complaints about whatsoever! Would highly recommend.

What we mostly would remember of staying there is to never repeat the same mistake ever again.
Apart from their carelessness for hygiene, they don’t care about guests at all, or better said the staff seem to hate the guests. I don’t know if it’s because of their workplace and payment condition or that management doesn’t care about their customers.
Hotel has 2 elevators that only 1 of them works for some reason and that one has also some technical problems, so in case you’re in a hurry don’t count on the elevator.
Room cleaning was a joke! As they wouldn’t even bother to change the dirty glasses or fill up toilet paper in the bathroom.
The breakfast was a nightmare! There were almost no option for people with allergy and vegans. They have 2 breakfast areas that one of them has even less options and they just send people to that one even if you ask them not to, as you can basically not eat anything there, but guess what! They don’t care! It was so disgusting to witness for example how chopped tomatoes survived on the breakfast buffet from Sunday to Friday and become more and more old and decayed, but they wouldn’t bother to change it for something fresh. Of course it’s too much to ask as usually they won’t even fill up an item if it’s become empty. They would just say: sorry we ran out!
One of the waitresses that would see us everyday, basically yelled at us after we said hi and entered the breakfast area! Just to get a room number. (Come on you see us everyday! And is there really a reason to yell at the guests?! It might sound crazy but you would as well get a room number even if you ask with a smile!)
If you ask them to give you a clean knife, they just gonna clean one that’s covered in cheese with a napkin in front of you!!! (Never seen something like that before, how is this a 4 star hotel?!)
It could have been an okey stay if the personnel weren’t so rude and angry and if they cared a bit about hygiene and doing their job.

Dear asaghorbanian, thank you for your review, thanks to you we changed the way we serve our tomatoes - so no one would have the impression you had. Elevator was not broken, we have two elevators and 150 rooms, sometimes when we have groups in our hotel, that could take a while for elevator to arrive to your floor. Also, our F&B manager organized training for restaurant staff to avoid such situations in the future. All the very best, Andrew

I stayed at this hotel with my better half for a few days before new year. First the good parts: the room was overall fairly clean and modern, bed was fairly comfortable, the hotel is fairly close to a tram stop, and the Czech dubbed Harry Potter movie was fairly entertaining. Unfortunately I have bad parts about the room to report as well, in no particular order: the bathtub wasn't able to hold water very well, the mini fridge was actually a mini freezer that turned any liquid into ice (even the drinks offered by the hotel), the tap water smelled like chlorine, and the supplied glasses weren't replaced when dirty.
The breakfast buffet offered by the hotel was the largest problem, though. The buffet had a carafe of almond milk for us vegans and vegan wannabes (and people with milk allergies I suppose), but I made the perculiar observation that on the first day it was almost full - next day it was less full - and finally it was almost empty. We were clearly the only ones using it. One morning it was gone, and when questioned, the staff said that they were out of almond milk, and asked if we couldn't just use normal milk. Same thing with the "fresh" tomato slices, which were the same ones offered every day until they'd run out. These things were symptomatic of our general experience with the breakfast buffet: the staff weren't very accommodating or understanding regarding veganism. Another example was when someone had used the bread knife to butter something (?) and we asked the staff for another knife, to which the woman reacted rudely and halfassedly wiped off the butter and then left. The staff was generally rude. Finally, on our last morning, we were told that we couldn't use the normal breakfast area and instead were sent to the basement where they had another buffet, almost totally lacking in vegan options (not that the other buffet was impressive in this regard).
Can't recommend this hotel unless you want things you put into the mini fridge to turn into ice and you love cow milk and questionable breakfast sausages.

Me and my partner came to Prague for her 21st birthday. The room was immaculate, we couldn't pick a single fault. It is located just outside of the old town, the tram/bus service is great value (around £3 for the day) we recommend doing a little research and learning the tram lines. Had a fantastic stay in this fantastic hotel.

Travelled to Prague for a weekend break to celebrate mine and my daughter’s birthday and my other daughter came too. Arrived and check in went well. Went to our room 211 which was ideal for the 3 of us apart from there being no curtains at the window (there was a net one which would be no good at keeping the light out or stopping people seeing in when the light was on!) There was a curtain track there so there must have been curtains up at some point. Called reception and a young man came to the room as he couldn’t understand what I was saying. He seemed unperturbed that we had no curtains!! Reluctantly agreed to find us another room. Room 201 again was a lovely room but immediately noticed an unpleasant smell from the bathroom. Called reception again spoke to a lady who advised that the smell was from macdonalds and the hotel was full!! Advised her that we were not happy so reluctantly she came to the room and realised that the smell was not from macdonalds after all!! Said she would try to find us another room! We were then shown another 2 rooms, one with a fold down bed 311, and 301 which also had a disgusting smell!! We opted for 311 as by now we were pretty fed up. We later found that the strap holding the mattress in place on the fold down bed was stained as was the sheet. Asked for it to be changed. Had to ask for more towels every day as they only left enough for 2 people. Room was very hot despite having the air conditioning on full blast. Not much room to get to the bathroom with the fold down bed out. Breakfast was ok, location was good. Wouldn’t stay again.

+1
We visited Prague for the New Year's eve. The hotel prices at this period are as high as double. So as we had booked a rental car, a hotel inside the historical center was not an option. This hotel has plenty of car space places to park your car on the road for free, plus a parking facility. There is a nearby tram station at 200m which takes 30min to reach the astronomical clock in the old town. We also used Bolt it took 15min and 4.50€ one way. Apart from an isolated incident, in which the maids lower the thermostat of the minibar in purpose to ruin my stored bottle of milk, stuff was polite and kind. The hotel was clean, and the quality of the breakfast was above its rate. Breakfast was really good. The hotel is located at the home ground of Slavia Prague Stadium.

The experience was saved by the staff, the maintenance guy Honza (Jan) was brilliant when fixing the tv and safe in the room, what a great guy. Nikole on the bar was fantastic and made us feel very welcomed and she had a great sense of humor. Remembering guests names makes them feel special and she certainly made me feel spacial. Michal on the bar was also very good and helpful. Adam on the reception was great, also all the other desk staff but I don’t remember their names. That said, the room was not up to a 4 star standard in my opinion. The carpets need a good clean and finished touches could lift this place. The bathroom was nicely appointed. The cleaners did strange things like opening the window and leaving the air con on full whilst i was not there, they also removed the spare card which annoyed me. Breakfast was super nice however the staff took plates away as soon as you stoped chewing, i would suggest leave clearing a table till people have finished . Parking was easy and free. I just felt it could be better, staff were great its just the room could have been better. Big negative from me was the internet, it was terrible, and i was not allowed to plug in a HDMI cable to the TV to work on big screen or watch Netflix, thats poor in this modern age. It has potential but doesn’t meet it.
