Travelers' Choice
The COSMOPOLITAN is a gorgeous 1889 townhouse carefully restored with a modern touch of the "belle époque" style. The newly redesigned luxury boutique hotel retains gentle aspects of this magnificent historic building, but transforms the interiors to create a dynamic mixture of old and new, past and present. The hotel is ideally located on a quiet street of the Prague Old Town, only a few steps from all important shopping and sightseeing attractions. 106 lavishly designed rooms and suites are decorated in elegant cream shades accenting contemporary accessory colours, specific to each room type. Luxurious bathrooms spoil with great size, heated floors and mirrors. The bedrooms come complete with plush amenities including complimentary tea & coffee, interactive TV, bathrobes & slippers or minibar, as well as many safety features. For relaxation or exercise a 24-hour gym and sauna are also available complimentary. Free Wi-Fi throughout. Smoke-free policy. Next Door restaurant by TV celebrity Chef Zdeněk Pohlreich is a must see venue with original 1889 ceiling frescos brilliantly complementing new design by an Italian architect Luciano Belcapo. Czech modern cuisine in a trendy bistro style made strictly from the freshest ingredients. Watching the well-coordinated chef orchestra in the open plan kitchen is just thrilling. Advance bookings recommended.

Amazingly friendly staff! I have never experienced such a positive attitude at any hotel. Location is just fantastic to roam through inner city with metro, tram and bus stations all around. A massive shopping center close by and Next Door restaurant connected to the hotel provides you with top class food as the head chef there is a well known Czech culinary superstar Mr. Pohlreich. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and it is a simply great value hotel!

The Cosmopolitan (and its sister hotel around the corner the Art Deco) is the place I always recommend visitors to when visiting Prague. The quality of the hotel, the staff and service, the location and the relative price make this arguably the best choice in Prague if you want something a touch fancier that is close to the center. I’m really a huge fan. If you choose the hotel, don’t miss breakfast at the Cafe Imperial across the street. It’s the best breakfast in Prague by far.

We stayed at the Cosmopolitan Hotel for 3 nights and would not be able to find any faults. The location is good, only a 10 minute walk from the main train station. The service from all staff was excellent, professional and friendly. The room was smart, clean and exactly as expected. Comfortable king size bed, good air conditioning and blackout curtains meant for the best sleep ever. There is no pool, but the gym and sauna were of a good standard (a bit small, but also not busy so this didn’t matter). The whole hotel was always clean and always smelled amazing. The Next Door restaurant was also great, the breakfast was of a good standard and the service was always excellent. We also had food at the restaurant on one evening which was flawless. If we return to Prague, we would 100% be staying here again.

Excellent, great value hotel in the heart of Prague. It has comfortable, spacious rooms, helpful staff, a small but well-equipped gym and a good restaurant. Located on the edge of Old Town, it is within 10-20 minutes walk of the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square and Narodni Museum. It offers similar quality to the international chains nearby, with more character and at a fraction of the cost.

I have stayed here several times and each time the place is fantastic. The staff, the hotel atmosphere, the quality of the room, the upgrade on arrival, the bottle of wine. The place is super clean, the rooms are high quality, the restaurant breakfast and meals are great too. I have stayed at some big Vegas hotels and others on my travels but this little Prague hotel is my favourite. The gave me a late checkout and even kept my bags until late in the evening. They even provide hotel limos to collect you from the airport for not much money. Its worth it. I recommend this place. Location is great, just 10/15 mins to the very touristy areas, there are shops and a shopping centre 2 minutes walk. Airport is about 15 mins and easy to get to. Thank you guys.
